I’ve had a very positive experience with this surgery. I was fortunate to see the same doctor, Dr. Jovenus Mwakamowo, across several appointments. Dr. Mwakamowo was thorough in assessing my condition and made sure to promptly refer me to a physiotherapist the following week. Today, I had my appointment with the physiotherapist, Adnan Khan, who was equally impressive. He took the time to genuinely listen to my concerns, clearly explained the likely root cause of my issue, and provided me with a detailed treatment plan. I now feel much more confident in my path to recovery. Thank you!

I honestly find it extremely hard to believe that reviews given with more than 1 star are genuine reviews. Not only is this surgery on a social media platform for tower hamlets residents as being the worst surgery in tower hamlets. The wait times for calling the surgery are absolutely astonishing. 3’calls made in one day. I waited 47 mins to then be hung up on, 39 mins to again be hung up on and those are followed by an absurd 1 hour 22 mins ! To once again be hung up on. These calls was saved to my photos for evidence. I won’t even go into the issue of medical negligence, this is a much more serious problem which is being dealt with by legal professionals. Please if you or anyone you know are even considering joining this surgery, please take note of the reviews. If you wish to be left poorly, ignored and develop life threatening conditions and long term health problems then go ahead and join XX Place. For any employees there who see this review, No I am NOT a patient thankfully. However I deal my mothers care and it is herself who is a patient.

Adnan the Physiotherapist was very helpful - booking in an ultrasound for my shoulder pain, referred me to do Physiotherapy at Mile End and gave me pain medications. He also sent me some exercises to do at home.

I did an e-consult at 10am and got an appointment for 12.40pm on the same day!

Doesn't even deserve 1* such bad service from the entire team. You could be dying but they will not give you an appointment. The surgery manager is really unprofessional, doesn't deal with any queries or complaints instead is really intimidating the way they speak. They simply don't care, hung up on you and the receptionist are rude. It takes them weeks to see or address your issue. If you ask for certain medication they started lecturing you on the government budget as if no one is partying on taxpayers money. I work and pay tax and this is the service I get. When requesting for medication for my child I was advised by the receptionist to use a strong steroid on my child face, she had no knowledge of what she was telling me as she was busy wanting me to get off the phone. When I asked her what qualifications she has as a receptionist to give me medication advice and told how the information she gave me was incorrect and dangerous she baffled and told me to hang on while she speaks to the doctor. These receptionist thinks we patients know nothing and they look down and degrade us. She could get in a lot of trouble for her action.

On the middle of February I had an appointment with midwife.She requested me to book the next appointment on 29th of March.Because of the system errors she cannot book so she told me to go to reception.Also need to mention that my blood test results wasn’t normal and she also ask me to do another blood test as well. I went to reception and booked for blood test ask them to book for me the next appointment on 29 what midwife request me to do that.One of the front staff replied I should call them on February.On February I went there as very waiting over the phone.Firstly one of the Bengali sttaf says that she cannot then another came in she says that I have to call/come the same week. Have tried another time and then I went to the same week but the same staff said end of April before that there’s nothing.I was really frustrated and without any argument I just said it’s gonna be too late as I have some issues on my blood tests (it’s for 25th week’s midwife appointment as well)
Then she gave me phone number to book the appointment .My question is why am I waiting nearly two months if you just giving me a phone number to book by myself?Why didn’t she give me the phone number at beginning.now I called this number and someone said I should wait and it’s one no one called me yet.
Who’s responsible for put in trouble during my pregnancy.
I’m already worried as it’s first time pregnant on top of that I cannot see midwife on 25th weeks.what I supposed to be and my blood results wasn’t normal this on my head as well.
Because of the useless staff why my life is in trouble
