Have suffered with late onset asthma, hay fever and copd over the last 2-3 years. Hospitalised 5 or 6 times & saw the practice nurse for the 1st time today for an asthma review. She was 25 minutes late, couldn’t access her computer so couldn’t see my medical records. Talked over me the whole time. Blood oxygen machine wasn’t working, 2 blood pressure machines not working (1 of them situated in the reception, so you’re in full view of any other patients - this machine gave 2 opposing readings in the space of 5 minutes & 1 very high and 1 quite low). So I wasted 45 minutes to basically blow into a tube. Asked me to come back in the morning, but couldn’t guarantee any of the equipment would be working. I made an appointment with my pharmacy for my blood pressure. Rubbish service. I wouldn’t trust them to take my temperature.

Previous review seems to have been deleted..

Failed to include anaphylaxis allergy severity discovered in infancy in medical record, despite desperate urges from the Emergency department. Same with a blood condition and the haematology team.

Just to name two issues experienced with input from multidisciplinary teams. The non inclusion of the two listed above, caused professionals to assume health hypochondriac/exaggeration before life threatening symptoms from infancy to adulthood.

Terrible practice, was registered there for years, doctors do 2 min phone calls as appointments with no care, probs 6 hours after your actual apportionment time, never met anyone despite repeated health issues, had to go to A&E to see doctors. Run down facilities. Find something better in the area.

Really horrible practice!
If you try to book a Dr, they send you to the nurse, if you don't already know she's a nurse you will assume you have seen a Dr!
I had 2 sick kids with ear infections, one under 1 year and the other 3 years old. The Dr appointment they gave me after ' triage' was 8 days after I had called asking for a Dr and antibiotics for my sons.
I had thyroid results and the Dr literally told me ' I don't know what this means but it doesn't say you have cancer '
I tried to book appointments for my kids when they had the flu, chickenpox and other ailments so I can get a note for school.
They referred me to an online form system that made no sense and said they need to be sick ( off school) for a week to get a letter!!!!

I also had the receptionist argue with me, I simply asked about the time of my appointment as I was trying to have it moved forward, she kept shouting and going around in circles asking if the time of my appointment wasn't suitable and if I wanted to change it. Literally my 3 year old has more intelligents.
So yeh, unless you want to

Carol the receptionist was the best. She always called you "sweets" and was kind and patient and tried to help and get you an appointment.

The original doctors (2007-2015) Dr C Duggal were brilliant. But today I have just said goodbye and good ridden to this GP.

1. You have to go through the gate keepers (receptionists)
2. You will get put on the triage list for your case to be considered worthy of an appointment
3. You will get a call back from a "clinician" who is the coldest, rudest and dismissive woman/nurse /clinician you could ever hope to talk to. She will make you feel stupid, talk to you like a doctor (she is not), tell you she will do something (she wont) and waste your time.

I called for weeks when my two toddlers were coughing and having breathing difficulties, i was told it was viral and to take them to the park as they seem fine.

I kept calling back, 1 was given antibiotics after 4 doctor appointments and my other child with the identical symptoms was told to get back in the line and wait to be triage to speak to a doctor or most likely a clinician, this took an extra 5 days to get a call back. In the meantime i shared the antibiotics between my two toddlers and within 2 days rushed them to hospital and they were confirmed to have had whopping cough and i was told i was given the wrong antibiotics in the first place that had nothing to do with breathing difficulties and coughing.

If you are a parent or are elderly - find another GP surgery.

I had ECG overnight monitor in October 2024 - still chasing the results in January 2025, they told me they would email the hospital once I chased.

This one will treat you like you are a peasant begging for food.

Today this morning Dr Janet Aschkar put the phone down on me after the I asked to speak to another doctor as I was not receiving the help that i needed from her, I explained about my on going pain in my lower abdomen and these long term pains I have in my feet and thighs and my arm and shoulder and her advice was that i should rub my arm. and feet and I just wanted to be fully assessed as I’ve been in pain for years. I also suffer from mental health and trying to keep it under control by walking , changing my diet etc , women like myself are struggling so much with no help , I just felt , unheard and lost especially when she put the phone down on my abruptly , if we can’t go to doctors where can we go , we are treaded so badly and discriminated by professionals who are meant to care for us. I went with a problem thinking i would get answers and came off the phone feeling 10x worse. I hope that no one else has to experience this , I am beside myself sitting in my bed crying my heart out. Thinking I may have to go to A&E or what other help I can get so that I can get better. It should never have to be this way.

Receptionists have improved a lot - the young ladies are all really friendly, much needed improvement. Wish I could say the same for the doctors, no annual health checkups on elderly patients as there used to be, some doctors are highly incompetent. My mum & I have been misdiagnosed many times. I'm surprised with the negative reviews on Dr Fahmi - for me, he's the only doctor that takes me seriously & has managed to sort out my issues...triage system is annoying, sometimes you'll have a serious issue but have to wait the next day for a call from the doctor? Better to go to A&E to get a proper diagnosis
