I had to wait for about 5 minutes on the phone to make an appointment but had no wait at the practice on the day of the appointment. It is somewhat confusing that the JS Medical Practice shares the space with the Lawrence House surgery. Otherwise I was very happy with the doctor and the service received.

I can confidently say it's the best medical practice I've ever encountered. The entire team is exceptionally understanding and compassionate. They always answer the phone and promptly return your calls, making communication effortless.

When you're struggling with your health, it's a blessing to speak with staff and doctors who genuinely care about your well-being. Their dedication to patient care is truly remarkable. I wholeheartedly recommend this surgery to everyone. An all-around brilliant service that sets the standard for medical care.

Very pleased with this GP service. Doctors are very professional and they see you promptly on the same day or call you and have a telephone consultation.

Definitely worth mentioning their front desk assistant Afsana, who is always courteous, attentive and always follows through.

They have a very efficient prescription ordering system and with the Patient Access app you never miss an appointment.

The worst GP surgery I have ever encountered. They do not value other people’s time. For starters, they tell you to book an appointment at 8:00 am sharp in the morning, or else you can’t get an appointment. Even then, you’ll wait in line for 20 minutes to an hour just to book one. After getting an appointment, they’ll tell you a time, but you never know when the doctor will actually call you. The doctor can call you at any time during the day, and you have to pick it up no matter what or you won’t be able to get in touch with them again. As a working person, this means you probably won’t be able to get in touch with the doctor for the entire week due to work commitments, but the doctor doesn’t care, and neither does the reception team. They are not open on weekends. Honestly, I’ve tried to put up with this GP surgery for the past couple of weeks, but now I’m done with it. It has become more of a headache—waiting in line for hours, calling repeatedly, and still not getting in touch with a doctor. I’ve had an eye infection for a long time, and I still have it because apparently, I cannot get in touch with a doctor. Also, if you come across someone named Sumaiya (if I’m spelling her name correctly) at the reception, just remember she will not help you. She’s a bit of a bootlicker. Again, if you’re still going to this GP surgery, I wish you all the best, but I’m out of this place.

Not very good to make appointments by phone.
I am lucky to live nearby and prefer to walk in to make appointments.
I have had two appointments with the nurse Koula Christodoulu and was impressed with her professionalism. I just went for a blood pressure check but she also looked at my health history and weighed me and measured me and sent me for a blood test and a ECG which are being followed up with adequate medication. I am very grateful that Mrs Christodoulu did those extra checks which were very helpful at my mature age of 72.
I am sorry for the people who had bad experiences with reception.

There has been a big improvement in the patient experience since the new contract has been in place. Moves towards standardised practices, continuity of and outcomes-focused care have all made a positive difference since the previous unsatisfactory caretaking arrangement which undermined patient care and trust. Patient involvement in all aspects of care delivery and positive patient outcomes appear to be a priority. Keep up the good work!

Absolutely disgusted with this surgery. I can count on my hand the number of times I have call the surgery over the years. First in a long time I called the surgery yesterday for an appointment. 27 in the queue. After 1 hour reached the front of the queue to be told call back tomorrow as there is no appointments. Called 8am sharp today on TWO mobile phones. 1st in the queue with one, 27 in queue with the other. AFTER 1 HOUR NO-ONE ANSWERED the phone which was first in the queue. The phone which was 27 in the queue went on call back. Some answered that number evetually and told me no appointments! 1st in the queue no answer, 27 in the queue no appointments. What type of service is this. JS Medical Practice - useless and not fit for purpose. Seriously considering leaving to a more efficient surgery.

I have been with this practice for nearly 18 years and services have been quite inconsistent in terms of quality from the reception staff and GPs, with some of them being quite appalling.. Now under new management, I am glad to say that I had quite a surreal experience yesterday with one of the best reception members of staff for a very long time. Harun Mohamed was very helpful, considerate, professional and kind when dealing with my query (which took some time to complete) despite being busy. I hope that this standard of service will continue to improve for the future. Thank you so much, Harun.
