Best service I have ever received from a GP! So happy and couldn’t recommend them enough. Was concerned a new tattoo I had was getting infected. Filled out the online form, received a text asking me to send a picture of it within 15 minutes! Got a response back immediately telling me they had prescribed me a course of antibiotics and that I could collect them from a pharmacy within 5 mins of my house! This was all between 5 and 6pm! Amazing and so thankful to the efficiency of the service. At my old GP I couldn’t get an appointment for weeks! Thank you to the employees and service at the Heron Practice. So happy I re-registered here when I moved back to London!

It seems reception team has hit a new low. I received a text instructing me to schedule a follow-up A&E appointment for my child at your clinic. However, the entire experience has been nothing short of a farce.

First, your system doesn’t allow me to register an appointment under my child’s profile—a glaring flaw. Determined to resolve this, I arrived early this morning, explained the situation, and hoped for a simple on-site booking. Foolish optimism! The receptionist informed me I could only book online—despite my repeated attempts that were thwarted by your obtuse system.

Here’s where it gets laughable: I was physically at the clinic, speaking to a real person, yet I couldn’t make an appointment manually. If your system is broken, shouldn’t the staff be able to assist? Instead, I was met with unhelpfulness so profound it felt intentional.

To make matters worse, this isn’t even the first time this has happened. Twice now, I’ve encountered the same incompetence. Surely, a medical facility should value efficiency and patient care more than this.

Perhaps a system overhaul—and a reception team capable of problem-solving—would be a good place to start.

I was very happy after seeing Dr Raymond, very professional and helpful, she explained all my medical problems to me, in a way and matter that I will understand. She gave me a good advice about foods that can lower my blood sugar, and went through my current medications one by one. I had a very good sleep that night because I learnt a lot about my medical conditions in such a limited time during her consultation with me. She's a good listener and she smiles throughout the consultation. Thank you Dr Raymond and to all other doctors that I have seen previously, you're all doing a great job.

I fell over and hit my head on a hard surface when I tripped over at home. I was seen promptly by the Heron Practice and saw a new young doctor, Dr Monks, who was very attentive, and helpful. I felt reassured and all my concerns and queries were dealt with very thoroughly.

Very unhelpful on giving travel vaccine guidance. I rung up the receptionist and told them I needed to get the tetanus polio diphtheria vaccine, and whether this could this be arranged by the GP practice. I was told that they do not organise travel jabs and so I should go to Green Lights pharmacy to sort this out. So I organised the jab with the pharmacist, paying ÂŁ30 for it. The pharmacist then explained that I could of got this jab on NHS prescription from my GP and so only paid around ÂŁ9. I do not understand why the receptionist did not tell me this information, and I imagine there will be a lot of people at the practice who have also not been given the correct information and have forked out a lot more money than they need to for the NHS eligible travel vaccines. I hope the practice improves this communication with their patients in light of this feedback.

I was treated very unladylike and most disrespectfully by a self-styled receptionist called Sharon. I don't know why she even bothers to turn up for work each day. 'Sharon' has no idea of customer service and patient care.
