Iv dealt with alot of GP practices over the years with having a complex medical background and can honestly say since joining this practise a few years ago I feel very lucky. Dr James is by far the best GP iv ever dealt with. All the receptionists are great but Alice and Natalie deserve recognition. Pauline the Diabetes nurse is also fantastic as is the Pharmacist Danielle. The Practise manager Saj is brilliant at her job. Never wrote a review before for a Surgery but feel the need to do so. With how underfunded and overwhelmed the NHS is at the moment. This place deserves some recognition.

Over the past year Ive met various GPs at this practise now for my family. All excellent. Really impressed with their care. Sadly some of the wait times for non urgent appointments are very long, but I don't see this as a specific fault of the practise.

The practicioners at Old Church are always very responsive and have taken time to properly listen to my symptoms/concerns whenever I needed treatment or had a health issue and I've felt well takem care of. I've mainly been seen by Dr.James and Dr.Heaney. Registration was straightforward when I moved to the area a couple of years ago, reception friendly and phone waiting times so far don't seem unreasonably long. Having extended opening hours some evenings is definitely also a big plus if you're working full-time!

I think we should share a positive experience not only the bad ones. I have had not so good experiences at Old Church but recently I was seen by a Dr Zaheen and she has been so helpful, I wish I'd met her 5 years ago. Thanks for everything. The reception team are also good, just need to listen a bit more and be more helpful but I understand the stress and pressure they are under.

I highly recommend The Old Church Surgery and have had great experiences when I've had appointments with this practice. The receptionists, doctors and nurses are all really pleasant and make you feel at ease as soon as you walk through the door. Special thanks to Dr Mahyoub and Nurse Kay for being thorough and friendly.

I've not been at the practice for long but have been pretty impressed - until yesterday when I saw Dr Ramin (I think that's her name). She could not of cared any less and couldn't wait to get rid of me. Such a shame that she is a let down to the rest of her team - and more shockingly I was told she was a Partner of the practice! However, all the other staff, nurses and doctors I have come across so far have been helpful, understanding and friendly. I'll just make sure never to see her again!

I have been a patient at this practice for at least 25 years. I have a complex painful neurological condition. I have always found all of the staff, doctors, and nurses to be extremely professional whilst treating me with compassion and kindness. I know that any issues they wrestle with are as a direct result of national underfunding and initiatives imposed by govt.
I am very grateful that they have always, helped in crisis and, most importantly, they listen and treat you as a person.
Recently I needed a huge amount of medication to allow me to travel safely. Although a complicated and an unusual request the practice resolved this for me. Thank you.

I've always had a positive experience here, getting same day appointments when urgent and all the doctors I've seen have always been good. There's also a lady on reception who's lovely, friendly and super helpful!
