Diabolical company and staff…
My mums care package was assigned to this company, our first concern was that the care assessment only took 15 minutes.. and no personal or care related questions were asked. Carers turned up the next day and it was evident that they had no idea what they were doing or how to do anything related to care. They didn’t know how to use any equipment so they definitely aren’t manual handling trained even though they said they were. The carers that come could barely communicate as their English was shocking. One of the many things they did was turn off my mums airflow mattress which caused it to deflate whilst she was on it, she told them repeatedly something wasn’t right as she was in a lot of pain laying down, I came into the room and noticed the mattress was flat so this resulted my mum laying on a practically bare metal hospital bed, I intervened and found that they had turned off the mattress and turned this back on, they did not acknowledge their wrong doing and no apology was given.. the following morning was probably the worst experience of care I’ve ever witnessed and my mum had ever experienced. Once again, care staff had absolutely no idea how to use equipment such as commode, hoist, transfer slings and wheelchair, they injured/hurt my mum 5 times in 15 minutes as I was watching the clock every time she yelled out in pain. My mum who is a very timid and quiet person ended up getting so upset she had to ask them to leave, they didn’t listen to my mum and carried on what they were doing, I had to come into the room and tell them to leave myself, after asking them 4 times they eventually got the idea and left, the have absolutely no respect for the disabled or vulnerable, they do not listen, I called their office and explained mums issues and concerns and we were reassured everything would be okay, the staff in the office were just as bad as the care staff, and tried to butter us up to stay with their so called company, I myself had to take days off work as I just couldn’t trust them to care for my mum by themselves, god knows how she would have been treated if she lived by herself, I dread to think about it as they needed my assistance every few minutes, luckily we managed to get an emergency care pac kage sorted so she didn’t have to suffer with these carers any longer, they were only here 2 days but it was 2 days too many! Please please please, if you care about the care you receive or someone you know, never get involved with this company! If I could put 0 stars I would but I would give them 5 stars for being probably the worst company to exist and run
