The doctors are knowledgeable and take the time to listen and explain treatment options clearly. The continuity of care has been invaluable, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

I have been with this surgery for 24 years plus and I have never harboured the thought about moving elsewhere. Generally, the doctors are compassionate and receptionists are polite. However, as with any other surgery, there have been minor unpleasant moments especially at the reception stages (more about individual/s) but that is a pin in the ocean when compared to the positives. It is worthy of note that Government policies often impact efficiency / productivity but the surgery still strive to provide the best care possible. Keep up the good work.

My experience of the Fairfield Centre over the past 40 years has been excellent. I couldn't fault it. All of the practices are under a lot of pressure these days but once you get into their system they take very good care of you.

Had an appointment here to change a dressing on my arm, booked it with my local GP for 10:40 the lady was kind enough to even write the address and time of the appointment for me.
When I arrived just before 10:40 for my appointment I was told to wait and was soon after told that they thought my appointment was for 10:20 and other people waiting for 10:40. They refused to do anything about it and turned me away at it was more than 15 minutes after what they deemed as the scheduled appointment.
They blamed it on the receptionist at my local GP but I saw her book it and she even wrote it down, I think they just wanted to reduce the amount of work for the day. They made no attempt of contacting me at 10:20 or at any time in the days leading up to it.
Can’t believe they wouldn’t even let me wait till any of the nurses was free for 5-10 min just to change my dressing. Probably going to have to go and wait 3 hours in A&E to be seen now.

The highest level of service from all staff members, be they nurses, admin, or doctors. I have always been treated efficiently, intelligently, and with kindness whether in a face-to-face or telephone consultation with a doctor or simply just popping into reception. They were professional, attentive, and knowledgeable, but also genuine. My first language isn't English and discussing medical issues is not the easiest thing, but doctors were always patient and supportive. All the GPs I have seen at this practice have been so helpful for me and my family. The space is always clean, safe, and quiet.

I have been using this surgery for 15-16 years and I always felt it lacking. No empathy, no warmth. Always felt like a number thst they wanted out the door as fast as possible. However, a new doctor has joined the team, Dr Gordon Burke, and everything changed for me. He is professional, he wants to help and is proactive at getting to the bottom of it. I finally found a Dr that I can trust to care for me in my vulnerable times.

Poor. Always late for the appointments. No one informing, that your appointment would be delayed for 40mins or more! Never give proper service. 8 years been asking for blood tests, medical help. Always ignoring my requests. Have to go privat to be treated. When I asked for a sick note, as I lost my voice and been ill, been told that I need to pay for this service. Receptionists always pretending that they van not re-book, but when showing the letter they do so. Very bad service.
