For a hospital that everyone speaks so highly of, I am very disappointed in how PTs get treated! Breach of Information Governance, very rude staff, and just very little care from nurses. The drs I saw were very polite and professional. When I called to report that I had received a leaflet with pt details on, I was spoken to very rudely.

I called to speak to the Dr that I say in my previous appointment, I was told my the receptionist that there is a protocol and you can't just call up to speak to a Dr. The drs are not sitting around waiting for the pta to call them. I was shocked to hear this!

I don't see a point in putting a pals complaint in because the last time I did, they breached their 50 days and did not really care. It was a complete waste of and they don't really follow the procedures themselves.

Really really disappointed with St Mary's hospital.

In relation to treatment I am having at an Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust Neuro NTU ward, I am vulnerable and twice the Admissions team have sent me letters that have angered and upset me: firstly, in one of the letters, the Admissions team mistitled/misgendered me and then did not apologise to me in relation to mistitling/misgendering me. Secondly, in the other letter that the Admissions team sent to me, the letter really confused me because three times important factual information in the letter was incorrect, and also the letter was very tardy. Furthermore, I interacted with the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust's Care Information Exchange team recently and was less than satisfied in relation to the service the Care Information Exchange team delivered to me because I do not believe that the team treated me with enough respect.

Was referred to the Locum Breast & Reconstructive Consultant because I got ulcers on my breasts and suffered from pain, burning and discomfort and I was worried about having got Paget’s Disease as all symptoms were similar. Until my appointment arrived after three weeks, the ulcers were gone but I still felt the pain. Miss Meera Joshi, the doctor, was very rude and dismissed my concerns saying I am not in the right age for paget’s disease and when I insisted to get scans or tests, she mocked me for being too worried and with a snobbish tone made me leave the room.
All the pains and concerns I had gone through were on one side and the humiliation I felt just added salt to the injury.
What is WRONG with these doctors!? 😖😭

I cut my finger really badly which took a chunk of skin out. I waited 5 hours in total for anti-biotics and basically a fancy plaster.

I was promised to receive a text or call two days later to see how things were healing. I didn’t receive either. I phoned A and E which said I’ve got wrong department I need to call plastic surgery, I then phoned plastic surgery and they said I need to call A and E.

Since then my finger became infected as I don’t know how to re-bandage such a wound. I visited another hospital in Woolwich which wanted me to wait 7 hours for them to bandage it new. In the end I paid for a private doctor to do it as my experience with the entire NHS across London has been really poor.

It’s been over a month or so, my wound has healed strangely and not heard anything from this hospital since.

Very stressful experience with them so far. No one picks up calls, even though you are asked to call and book a scan for the next day (and this is a non flexible thing). Their in-house prescription service is also bad. Was told by the person behind the counter that the waiting period to collect medicines was 4 hours! When I asked if the prescription would work at boots (assuming I paid) he said yes. Boots said the prescription did not work outside the hospital. So in the end I was left without antibiotics that I had to take on the day after a procedure.

Wasted so many bottles of champagne for my "cancer free" party - I have no idea if I'm still cancer free only a year on, due to the insufficient follow ups I have been receiving. The Director of Pathology/Cytology needs to read the PHE guidelines for patients that have had a radical trachelectomy. I am no longer part of the screening guidelines. Do your job. Communication between departments at Imperial is an absolute shambles.

I have been lied to, deceived and left worse off than when I had treatment here, when I complained about my treatment I had my medical records leaked, google nhsbytes for more details.

I have been left with bad bleeding and unable to have intimate relationships, I was also duped out of informed consent, they lied to me by saying that I was not suitable for further treatment, but documents I obtained showed that Imperial were sending me for private treatment because they posted my medical files to other patients, they admitted liability, but they went back on their word and have left me with scaring, bleeding and infections.

I am in touch with other patients who almost died and who have been left with life changing injuries due to medical negligence.

I have reported to the met police about my patient files being leaked and they are investigating Imperial, have also gone to the ICO. I would never go back here, even if it was the last hospital left in England, you are rolling the dice with your health.
