From check in, admission, taken up to my room, pre checks with the nurse, waiting for my procedure, being taken down to theatre, theatre team, anaesthetist, consultant, recovery nurses and ward nurses I was so gently looked after. After a terrible experience at another hospital a few years ago I was terrified but they were all so wonderful and I truly thank them for all the help. If I need further surgery I would feel confident coming back here again.

I had a AF ablation in Cleveland clinic by Dr Sporton and i must say he is one of the best and the experience i have had in this hospital was incredible! The moment you press the button on your remote the nurses are in your room to assist you without delay! I had a wonderful view from my room looking at Buckingham palace back garden. Hospital is spotless and top end technology. I hope you will never need to go hospital but if you do and need care Cleveland clinic is the one!

My experiences of this hospital as an outpatient are positive, from my first consultation with Ms Devalia through to meeting the wonderful Shola for my POA. However, the staff exceeded themselves from the point of admission, and surgery. I was respected and the Anaesthetist and Surgeon spent time going through the procedure again. The nurses in recovery were calming and friendly as were the nursing and housekeeping teams on 5th floor when I was admitted overnight.

A clean, well presented hospital with good quality meal service.

I cannot thank the staff enough. This was the first time i was in hospital so i was beyond scared and anxious. Everyone was so patient with me especially as i had my ‘Karen’ moments due to increased anxiety. I couldn’t have even imagined better care. Dr Alexandra Wu diagnosed something that 6 other doctors couldn’t over the past 2 years. I owe her everything. All staff was incredible and the anaesthetist deserves a prize for putting up with me alone. Thank you so much 🙏🏻

These people decided to delete my review. This is my honest experience with Prof Nadey Hakim, not a single word is lies
I had a terrible experience at this clinic, particularly with Prof. Nadey Hakim. At the end of April 2024, I consulted him for an Allurion Balloon insertion, as his location was closest one from my home listed in website. During our first appointment, he strongly pressured me to book the procedure, dismissing my concerns about nausea and pain. He said, “Oh, you’re not that obese; those issues are for really big people.” He pushed me to schedule within a week, despite the Allurion program recommending 2 weeks of prep. before ballon insertuon. I reluctantly agreed after he reassured me I could cancel anytime and he didnt even tell me that i have to make full payment for booking.

After booking, He gave me allurion weight scale and then I was shocked when he immediately asked for payment, not mentioning it was non-refundable. Feeling pressured, I paid with my credit card. On the procedure day, he sent me to next door building basement. After telling them Mr. Hakim sent me they gave me paperwork to sign, which i presumed as normal process. But here they have done something dodge deal as well, they asked me if i want procedure paper in my email and i confirmed them yes. Still till this day i didnt receive procedure paper! Although at that time they i double checked my email address with them. anyway later Mr. Hakim came and took me to a small room it was done quickly and roughly. Unlike videos I had seen, he inserted the balloon abruptly, causing me to choke it out first time and then he was successful second time.
That night, I was in unbearable pain. Despite repeated calls, he kept suggesting to take over counter painkillers and reassurances that it is normal for first few days. On the 3rd day, when I was screaming in pain, he gave me morphine bottle, which turned out to be prescribed for someone else but at that i was more concern about pain than his crime!(sticker was ripped off from bottle where patient name was written!). When the pain worsened, my family had to call an ambulance. Although after taking morphine i was numb for couple hours and really felt better but another ordeal began within couple hours after coming bk home from his place. I took more than half bottle morphine within 4/5 hrs but i was screaming with pain! what i realised now that bottle he collected meant for another patient which was already opened before i took it. that’s the reason it didnt work as it was supposed to be and sticker was visible that it was prescribed for another patient but patient name was ripped off from bottle.

later on I was taken to A&E, where high-dose of morphine and initial care from paramedic team saved me.
My painful experiences with this guy could’ve ended here but even after all this, I experienced severe bloating and couldn’t pass stool for 10 days, leaving me bedridden. So called Prof. Hakim kept telling me it was normal and prescribed over-the-counter laxatives. My stomach became so bloated it was hard and painful to move. Desperate, on tenth or 11th day I found online advice to use suppositories, which finally worked after 11 days of agony and felt myself just recovered from the verge of death. Only those people can understand this who didnt pass stool for straight 10days.

Recovery was slow. For a month, I couldn’t eat solids, work, or live normally. Quack Prof. Hakim’s assurances of a quick, easy process were utterly false. His care was negligent and unprofessional. He dismissed prep protocols and ignored my worsening condition.

Lastly, the dietitian he referred me to was unqualified, with no verified credentials or physical office. I attached her picture from email here which i dont think from london too. I spoke 2 times to realise i was fooled by bunch of Quacks!
This ordeal caused immense physical and emotional trauma. Avoid So callef Prof. Hakim and this clinic at all costs. Please go to professional clinic, it might cost a bit but YOUR LIFE IS MORE IMPORTANT.

Had a surgery for a ankle fracture here. My overall experience with the hospital has been great.

- Doctors and nurses take time to explain everything.
- Overall facilities are really modern and clean.
- The food is really good and healthy.
- Flexible visitor schedule.

Professor PS has been a godsend for my husband with his enlarged prostate. My husband has co-morbidities after 2 strokes - not an easy case! He’s been brilliant and so caring. Understand that the team with the nurse practitioners including the amazing Jackie have made this journey possible so that now my husband’s waterworks operate perfectly. Great result!

My experience at this hospital was excellent from A to Z except some hiccups at the beginning with the booking, but it was due to one person only in the booking mangement, I complained and within minutes it was resolved, their patient Liaison team is second to none. My surgery went very well, had a great neurosurgeon , Mr Ulbricht, I heard that he's one of the best before surgery, but I was certain of that afterwards, it didn't take me long to recover and go back to work, no complications, and surgery made so much difference. All the staff and nurses were very efficient and friendly. I was very well looked after. Thanks and keep up the good work 🙂
