I found Vanessa at a point in my life where I was really unhappy with myself. I was going through different diets, calorie-counting, restricting food intake and obsessing over calories and exercise. I was in constant conflict with my body and self-image, and wanting to break this vicious cycle.
Vanessa taught me how to eat properly again, but saying that wouldn't do justice to the support and coaching she has given me (and continues to give me).
She helped me see that my body size is the least interesting thing about me, and she made me love myself and who I am. I feel like now I am no longer fighting so hard with my body and self-image, but working with the body I have, that is doing an amazing job at keeping me alive and healthy.
Vanessa has a holistic approach to food/body image/lifestyle and I think that's the biggest strength of the coaching she offers. I still work with Vanessa from time to time, as there's a lot of work needed to dismantle years of diet culture, and she always makes time for me when I have a wobble or a question.
Finally, Vanessa has also helped me with grief coaching when I lost important people in my life, I honestly don't think I could have gone through the grief without her help.
I highly recommend embarking on a nutrition and lifestyle journey with Vanessa, it's going to be uncomfortable at times, but it will be worth it.

When I first went to see Vanessa I struggled with fussy eating, hormonal issues and anxiety. Vanessa is very approachable and patient. I felt able to talk to her about anything, her kind and caring approach meant I never felt anything was too silly to discuss. Her advice proved invaluable as with a careful, healthier diet that we planned together (which to my surprise I enjoy!) my health improved dramatically and the issues that I once had vanished. It became so clear to me how our diet affects our health and how health can be sorted by diet. I now feel much more educated about food & diet and therefore I don’t have an excuse to be fussy anymore! Vanessa offers a manageable healthy approach through diet & supplements, her encouragement creates motivation and enthusiasm. I highly recommend her!

I took my daughter to see Vanessa as I was concerned that her diet was not as good as it could be. She seemed to be eating too many biscuits and chocolate and not enough of her 5 a day! After a lovely relaxed chat with Vanessa my daughter was quite shocked when she realised how much sugar she had in her diet. However she seemed enthused by the consultation and after our morning appointment we went straight to the supermarket and stocked up with all the healthy options Vanessa had suggested. It was fun shopping and thinking about our meals. It is now nearly 2 weeks later and she really has changed her diet for the better. We have put in place all the small changes Vanessa suggested She is cutting down on the sugar in her tea with a view to cutting it our altogether and choosing healthier options for lunch and at snack times. At supper we are both enjoying new recipes with a lot more vegetables and having more nutritious meals. My daughter is really enjoying thinking about what she is going to eat and has recently noticed her skin is a lot less spotty! Although she did not have a problem with acne she has definitely noticed her skin is much clearer. I was very impressed with Vanessa and her consultation as teenagers can be a difficult audience! But my daughter really gained a lot from meeting Vanessa and the proof is in the pudding! A healthy one of course!

Extremely concerned about my acne, I was referred by a family member to visit wellbeing and nutrition- who spoke very highly of Vanessa. To this day, I am very thankful that I was advised to visit. Initially, my only concerns were my acne but when I went there- Vanessa took a holistic approach and examined everything that could be affecting my acne as well as advising me on how to improve other aspects of my life such as my energy levels, anxiety and hair loss. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable and gives the best possible advice- she is also a good friend. She takes the time to listen and be there for you. I found that Vanessa was extremely understandable and approachable. I wasn't feeling too comfortable with what I was eating for breakfast, as I never used to eat breakfast so she gave me a variety of different options, which is extremely important especially when you don't enjoy eating breakfast . People often think that following a nutrition plan is extremely impractical but not with Vanessa- she's takes everything into consideration and works around you. I highly recommend Vanessa- she is absolutely amazing at why she does. I no longer have active acne and my energy levels have risen which was affecting my health in many ways. Thank you.
