Nurse Claudine on her name from emergency Homerton for kids, unprofessional and rude. I was asked by her while chewing her gum til her ears and us could see how many teeth she has and don’t have, make a noise like it was “Gangsta Paradise” -Coolio song … what happened with my toddler, when I start saying “Well yesterday “ she interrupted me as I did not understand her from the beginning and told me “ No, let’s start with why you are here”. I did answer back “ If you would have let me I was about to tell you”, after that all conversation was for herself. From all the questions and what she done, measuring and etc she told me “37.6• you can go wait until the doctor will call you”. That’s it.
While, all my respect for nurses and doctors, who have long shifts, please bear in mind, that we .. the “sick population outside the hospital” might have long shifts or bad day too. If a person is nice and respectful the nicest thing you can do is trying to be at least respectful if not nice.

This hospital gets worse every time I have to unfortunately be admitted. A&E are exemplary, doctors and surgeons are marvellous, but ward staff are unhelpful, uncaring, and ignore buzzers while patients suffer. The bathrooms and general hygiene at ward level are an absolute disgrace and completely unfit for purpose. Avoid being an inpatient if you can.

I was rushed to the emergency room due to acute food allergy. By the time I arrived at the hospital, I was nearly blind and completely suffocating, unable to see the road or signs. I sought help from a security guard in a yellow safety vest, and he quickly helped me to the entrance of the ER. Medical staff brought a wheelchair and ran to push me to the emergency room. The doctors and nurses here were all kind and dedicated, and I am especially grateful to Dr. Jennifer for saving my life.

Ohhh.... horrible service
The waiting time in antenatal department is over 3 hours.
So the appointment is at 2pm but they will call you to see you 5pm if not later.
This is a joke to me. Why would you give a time when you know you can't see me at that time tell me to come later. I think the budget issue is not an excuse for this. Also management is aware of this but not doing anything about this.
I'm coming for an appointment and it's taking more time than a regular flight. Horrible feeling

My first pregnancy, I changed hospitals to this one. And despite not having all the documents so quickly, it was the best experience of my life to have my baby there. They followed all my wishes. About my birth plan. They respected it and asked my permission for any procedure. Things I didn't like. They put me in a room with other mothers in the time of living, I was taking care of myself.Several years ago, I got COVID there. But I understand that those times were more difficult and they tried their best for the health of my baby, which was the most important thing, and for me. So I am grateful that even my doctors spoke my native language. Thank you very much for everything. I will definitely be back here!If I decide to have another baby, my advice is to plan your birth plan well and be flexible for the health of both of you.

My son recently spent a few days at the Starlight Children's Ward in Homerton Hospital, and I can't express enough how incredible the staff were. Every single member of the team was unbelievably kind and caring, ensuring he was in the best hands possible.

It was his birthday during his stay, and they went above and beyond to make him feel truly special and celebrated, which meant the world to us. The doctors, nurses, and the entire team were amazing, and we are absolutely over the moon with the care he received.

He will genuinely miss the wonderful people who looked after him. Thank you, Starlight Ward, for everything!

I've never encountered such a useless bunch of "computer says "no"" plebs as the Medical Secretaries and Admin staff in the Dermatology department. The office telephone number is permanently on voicemail. If you email them they rarely acknowledge you, so you are completely left in the dark if your query is being dealt with. They are slow and completely incompetent. Doctors and nurses are good though.

Really impressed by the level of care and attentiveness provided here by the staff.

Hospitals are never fun places to be and can often mean frustrating experiences. However, on each of my three recent visits, I left with a smile on my face due to the kindness and patience of doctors, nurses, receptionists and all other staff.

Pleasantly surprised - keep up the great work!
