I had a cardiac MRI today here and I was so very nervous due to being claustrophobic, having panic attacks and not good at lying on my back for long periods of time. Staff were fantastic! The male staff member at the reception and the radiology team were amazing!!! Especially Kevin and John. I cannot thank them enough for helping me through the scan. They answered all my questions, put me at ease making me feel safe and reassured. I know I did good but wouldn’t have been able to do it without them. Thank you all so much

I recently underwent a ventricular ablation at St Bart’s Hospital and I couldn’t be more impressed with the care I received. From the moment I walked in, the staff was professional, friendly, and attentive to my needs.

The medical team lead by professor Lambiase and Johanna Tonka explained the procedure thoroughly, answering all my questions and easing my concerns, and I felt like I was in capable hands the entire time.

The facility itself was clean and well-organized, which added to my confidence in the care I was receiving. Post-procedure, the follow-up was excellent, with nurses checking in to ensure my recovery was on track.

I’m incredibly grateful for the expertise and compassion of everyone involved. Thank you for making what could have been a stressful experience a smooth and positive one! I highly recommend st Bart’s hospital for anyone needing this procedure.

I have been to this hospital to visit a friend of mine who was admitted there for couple of days. During my visit I discovered that this hospital is truly exceptional! From the moment I entered the doors to the reception, I felt welcomed, and completely at ease. I meet the doctor who is in charge and looking after my friend and he has gone above and beyond to be sure that he answered my questions about my friend situation. He assured me that my friend’s health and wellness have been made first priority.
All physicians we dealt with were extremely knowledgable and personable. We never were made to wait. And if ever we needed to contact them they were super speedy in responding my inquiries.
I wanted to thank all the staff members they were friendly and helpful in every way.
The wait times are relatively short.
Truly this hospital will be looked after you by such a great team.

BEWARE a weekend check-in. All ENTRANCES bar King Edward St ARE CLOSED. Various receptions are not staffed. You just have to find someone and ask. They are all very nice and helpful but, don't know much about departments other than their own. The literature that is provided prior to check in makes no mention of the 300+ metre walk you will have because it doesn't suggest the king Edward entrance.
This is POOR ADMINISTRATION and not the fault of medical staff about whom I have nothing but praise. I give one star with the hope that someone in admin will read and make the considerate adjustments required.
When you have a failing heart and are made to walk 300plus metres due to admin oversight.....it doesn't imbue one with confidence.

I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible care I received from the medical team at St. Barts Breast Cancer Hospital. From the first consultation to the final follow-ups, every member of the team provided outstanding support, professionalism, and compassion during one of the most challenging times in my life.

The nursing and support staff were consistently kind, attentive, and understanding. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, informed, and felt supported throughout every step of my treatment. Every question I had—no matter how small—was answered with patience, clarity, and empathy. I was lucky to be under the care of Miss Jennifer Hu's team. The entire team worked seamlessly together, ensuring that my experience was as positive as possible under the circumstances. I would like to especially thank Michele Wong, the Breast Screening clinical nurse specialist, for her kindness and support every step of the way.

I also want to highlight the incredible skill and care of my breast surgeon, Mr Darren Patten, who performed my two surgeries with exceptional expertise. From our first meeting, I felt completely confident in his hands. He took the time to explain each step of the process, making sure I fully understood my options and what to expect. His attention to detail and compassionate approach made a world of difference to my physical and emotional recovery. Not only was the surgical outcome excellent, but the personal care and reassurance he provided along the way were invaluable.

St. Barts Breast Cancer Hospital is truly a place of hope and healing, filled with professionals who are dedicated to their patients’ well-being. I am deeply grateful to everyone there for the extraordinary care they provided, and I would highly recommend their services to anyone facing a breast cancer diagnosis. This team embodies the highest standards of medical excellence and compassionate care.

I'm honestly fed up with this NHS hospital.

It's ridiculous how they handle phone calls - what a complete waste of our tax money! Every single time I try to call, it's the same nightmare: either the line is 'busy' (yeah, right), or when you finally get through, they bounce you around to different departments.

The worst part? After being forced to wait on hold for half an hour, someone finally picks up only to hang up on you without even helping!

How is this acceptable?
It feels like they're just taking our money and giving nothing back. I've had better customer service from budget supermarkets! (with all the respect for the supermarkets)

If I ran my job this badly, I'd be fired on the spot.
Why should NHS staff get away with this kind of treatment?
