I have mixed feelings about NHS services and once had a bad experience at RLH. however today I'll give it five stars for the wonderful service of the Colposcopy clinic. From rescheduling an appointment to the consultation, the team shows their empathetic approach and patience.

I must add, Mrs Anna Parberry - The Nurse Colposcopist - is wonderful. The moment I arrived at their reception I saw many awards for her such as NHS Heroes. Her warmth and dedication really comforted my anxiety when going through the examination. The assistant Selina was so thoughtful too. Anyways thank you ladies for what you do - your service truly makes a difference! ❤️

Saw Surgeon Rosemary and nurse Ester today. Thanks won’t be enough for your thorough, friendly and detailed instructive care before each step that kept me at ease and thank you so much for the gentle aftercare too. Feel very privileged for the 1st class treatments to say the least! Very much indebted in gratitude!

To all the nurses & consultants at the Whitechapel Royal London Hospital
ICU unit for head trauma. I thank you for your professionalism humanity & your true dedication to save lives.
Unfortunately my father could not be saved, but your true dedication to make my family get through the last hours of his life will stay with me forever. I thank you with all my heart.

I was appalled by the awful treatment patients received when visiting maternity triage in the evening of Thu 19 Sep. It feels like if this standard of care continues, a mother or baby are going to end up dead because of the neglect shown. We were encouraged to attend triage (6F) because we were worried about the baby’s lack of movement. No one was at reception when we arrived at 7.45pm. We waited half an hour to be checked in without any explanation of what was happening. Once checked in we went to the hospital station to give notes to a midwife but no one was there. We waited another 20minutes until we saw our first midwife and got to hand in our notes. After another period of waiting, we asked how long it would take to speak to someone about the baby not moving. We were told they didn’t know, and as they had only just come on duty, they didn’t know what was going on, or where the doctor was and were told to sit down. I feel we were spoken to better as a white couple, because I could see that when Bangladeshi couples went up to ask the same question, they were met with hostile responses to sit down. One couple who had been there for hours were mocked because they said they were exhausted and wanted to go home, and encouraged to self discharge. The total lack of empathy was astonishing. They treated vulnerable women with disdain. The midwives acted as though they did not want to be there.

I had my baby at Lotus Birth Centre in Royal London Hospital on Saturday 8th February 2025. A massive shoutout to my community midwife, Phyllis. The service and her care was outstanding! She delivered my baby safely within 2 hours of contracting. She listened to me so carefully and treated me with so much care. I could never repay her for her effort and support. Thank you so much!

Terrence Clark is the most friendly, outstanding staff I’ve ever met, the hospital overall was average but I rate it 5 stars solely because of Terry. He’s a healthcare assistant who is so devoted and empathetic to each and every patient. He's genuinely so caring and compassionate, he’s cared for both me and my father on separate occasions and has always remained friendly, respectful and professional despite working hours on end. I truly wish others can learn from him as the positivity I received from him truly makes a difference.
Thank you Terry for the wonderful experience at Royal London hospital.

I've attended A&E at Royal London a few times, and I've always been impressed with the care I've received. Wait times can be long sometimes, but I'm so grateful to be able to access really good care. The mental health liaison team has always been compassionate, kind and collaborative and the nurses and doctors have always treated me with respect. The burns unit is also excellent. I feel very fortunate to live near such a good hospital.

Absolutely terrible! The emergency treatment department’s receptionist needs to be changed. And about the treatment it’s absolutely awful like they don’t care if you are dying or alive.I must say that health system of third world countries is better than this hospital. They literally don’t care, waited for more than 3 hours in emergency to get response like you will have an ultrasound tomorrow saying that they will contact me to confirm the timing but upon them not contacting me when I contacted what they said to me was disgusting they had the courage to say that if you are in pain take paracetamol, you will have scan next week.Like how can you even suggest something without inpecting!!.. I just want to move my case from here.If I could give 0 ratings, I must have as they don’t even deserve 1 star.
