The doctors and nurses in ICU and are phenomenal, they saved my mums life and granted her another two months with us and to not let our last memory of her be traumatic. I will forever be thankful.

Moving onto the Hedley Atkins ward, again Dr's and Nurses were all great except from one Dr Bliss, who proceeded to tell my my mum that she has an estimated 3 to 6 months left whilst making quips about how a tea and bourbon makes everything better and how we all have to go someway and it unfortunate this is how my mum has to go. Whilst my mum was crying. She was clearly so used to saying this to patients, and completely dissociated from the fact that she's telling someone about their immenent demise, that is their whole world. Jokes will never be appropriate in that instance.
I found it cruel and disgusting, even the junior Dr who was with her came back after and showed compassion and care. She should go to additional training on how to stay professional when delivery delicate news, you think it would be common sense, but evidently not.

Other than that one instance, the hospital staff really do care and work very hard.

Was an outpatient in oral surgery to have 4 wisdom teeth taken out on local anaesthetic. Apart from NHS admin being terrible - was stuck for 3 hours waiting for the initial consultation because the reception didn't know what they were doing! - the surgery itself was incredible.

Professional dentist, no pain apart from the injections. I was asked if I was happy for a trainee to take part, which I was, and the procedure went well. I felt safe, respected and listened to the whole way through, they explained aftercare and gave me a leaflet and some gauze in case I needed it. They also allowed a friend to chaperone me which I appreciated. When the NHS works, it's truly a miracle. My gums are nearly completely healed a couple months later, no dry socket, and I'm so glad I went through with this surgery.

I would like to thank the staff in the
" Dermatology Outpatients " for their services yesterday in removing a growth on my face.
I'm really feeling it this morning after the Anaesthetic has worn off, but you can't odds that, it's just great that we still have a NHS to provide this for EVERYONE. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

I have never experience such good treatment as in this hospital.
Twobyears ago I was given medication that I run out two months ago.
Today I phoned the urology department and at 6pm today I had a phone call that the drug will be delivered to my address on Saturday. I can't believe it! Such a remarkable care by the Urology Department and dr Thurairaja of 83 year old.

I went for an elderly persons assessment for plastic surgery I'm due to have in january. What an experience .Dr and team were very supportive .I'd not had a blood test for a year so I was very nervous. They all put me at ease and I was called after by Dr Fikree to go through results .I can only say thank you. What a service.

Had a huge hole in my wisdom tooth and my root was exposed, I was in agonising pain and referred to the hospital for an emergency appointment.

Everyone was really nice and helpful. The removal was very fast and painless (besides numbing, of course). They even let me keep my tooth!

My only complaint is the waiting! I needed an initial examination, 1 xray, & the removal. I arrived for my initial examination that was booked for 10:30am, I didn’t get home until 5pm lol

Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is Mrs. Stephanie Margaret Lodge, birth: 23/07/47 and live at Flat 4 Goschen House, 68 Peckham Road, Camberwell, London SE5 8QE. I have an appointment on Monday 20th January 2025 at 11.30am after 5 months of waiting. I also received info in the body of the text that I would receive further information about my appointment and info about the preparation SOON but I've received no further information details since, hence my dissatisfaction concerning this appointment. I would have expected to receive ALL necessary information long before now.

Yours faithfully,
Mrs. S. M. Lodge.
