I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Russell at the Eye Care Liaison Office for his outstanding support and professionalism. I had been trying to resolve an issue for two weeks with no success, but Russell went above and beyond to sort everything out in just an hour. Throughout the process, he kept me updated, ensuring I knew what was happening every step of the way. At the end, he even took the time to call me personally, letting me know that I could always reach out if I needed further assistance.

His kindness, efficiency, and dedication made a huge difference, and people like him are truly invaluable in hospital environments. I can’t thank him enough for his help.

I attended CM Hospital on the 24th October 2024 for day surgery. Prior to this I’d attended for a consultation regarding surgery and once again for a pre- assessment. In each occasion I was treated with kindness and compassion.
On the day of my surgery, everything from my time of arrival to my discharge was perfect, I couldn't have asked for more!
The ACAD team were wonderful, Maggie in recovery was just fantastic, she gave me the best care imaginable and she has the kindest soul.
The nurses who took care of me before and after my surgery were just wonderful, I was incredibly well taken care of by Tama, Jincey and the rest of the team. They are all, without a doubt angels here on earth.
The ACAD unit itself was immaculately clean and every care was taken to ensure that I was happy and relaxed throughout the day! I feel that my care was EXCELLENT
Many thanks to everyone from the nurses working a 12 hour shift to the surgical staff, anaesthetist and surgeons. I'm thankful and grateful for their care.

I recently visited the A&E for a swollen ankle and was initially impressed with how quickly I was attended to. The nurse who handled the process was kind and efficient, guiding me to get an X-ray done promptly. However, my experience took a disappointing turn when I met with the nurse practitioner afterward.

The nurse practitioner was extremely rude and unprofessional. She didn’t seem interested in helping or addressing my concerns and instead appeared annoyed that I was even there. While I understand healthcare professionals might have had a long or challenging day, it’s important to treat patients with respect and empathy.

This experience has made me hesitant about seeking care at A&E again. If the government wasn’t cutting taxes in the name of free health care. I would pay for private treatment to ensuring I receive the care and respect I deserve

Hospitals are not usually 'favourite places, but some 'feel' different to others, my first visit to CMH, not as a patient, but as a driver & companion... Long trip at short notice, from Medway, via the Dartford Xing and North Circular to Acton, would have been a 90 minute trip but roadworks north of London added 45 minutes.
Easy to find, well signposted, easy parking if early, very busy by midmorning, noticed plenty of frayed tempers, especially for Blue Badge bays.
Not as busy as St Mark's or Northwick Park.
Well connected by bus network to the main entrance

I had an ACL reconstruction procedure done today (08/12/24). I honestly cannot praise the service and staff enough at this hospital. From my initial consultation, until the completion of my surgery, I have been treated with the utmost level of respect, kindness and every need of mine was attended to. The nurses and doctors were extremely friendly and professional. I only wish I had taken their names to mention them in this review.

I had an awful experience d when I needed to visit as my thoracic spine went into spasm. The pain was intolerable and I could barely move. The doctor was very strange towards me and treated me like I was a crackhead in search of a high. I am a 66 year old education professional and in no way present as a drug addict. Furthermore my medical records show that I have not had muscle relaxants since my last episode in 2012.
He had no empathy and no compassion. He ought to be working in an area non patient facing. A really upsetting experience. I finally went to somewhere else where zi immediately got help

Been under the care of St Marks for over a decade and been a inpatient twice since 2022. Cannot fault them. My doctors and their team are brilliant and very thorough.
The area needs investment in their signal/internet. But so happy to be there for my condition management and treatments.

I have just had a hip replacement done at this hospital and at a time when the NHS has come under criticism, I can only praise this hospital up for the care and treatment I have received.. the drs, nurses plus the care assistants were the best! Even the cleaners and everyone I came across were friendly and helpful..
From the first day of arrival to the last day of my stay, I have no complaints, so "Thank You" to all the people I came across in there..
I am only just 3 weeks post op but I already feel like I'm getting my life back after so long of hobbling around! So if you are worried about this op, don't be if you are going into this hospital.. 💙
