I had to go here for an operation when I was 13. During my stay on panther ward I have to say that this hospital is the best of its kind. The ward was very nice and clean with friendly staff and play nurses. I was treated with great care and compassion. All in all I would totally recommend great Ormand street!

hi, I just got out a great Ormond Street with severe colitis i am 13 years old. I have the most amazing experience here during my illness and was very child friendly. We did not meet any unkind nurses was kept extremely clean and tidy and amazing food and treatment was provided. Thank you so much gosh. You saved my life

Amazing place and staff! My son had a day surgery and we were well looked after, doctors other staff are very friendly and sensitive. We had a good time with less to worry about due to the constant communication and assurance from the team at woodpeckers ward down to the urology team.
Only thing i will request is them to grant access for kids to use the play grounds which was locked during our stay and another user who has been in the hospital for more than a week also confirmed its been locked out for more than 5 days. if this is for safety reasons, let them please improve it. i am referring to the locked up area that has sea like ambience

We were in the Nightingale ward for a day procedure for my 10 year old. We were looked after by Ash who is by far the most professional, kind, knowledgeable and compassionate nurse I have ever met. Ash’s knowledge alone was on par with a team of doctors and the way she explained everything patiently and passionately just made the day so calm. We hope to see Ash go very high in her career and be an example for everyone in the health profession. Her bedside manners and general approach to children and their families is unparalleled. Thank you Ash and the GOSH team and doctors. Really is one of the best in the world.

I don't know how I can ever really thank Great Ormond Street Hospital and staff. You always hear about the Hospital and the great work that it does. But until you are physically thrust into it. Feet first, no-where left to turn, fire burning all around you and no water to put it out, you realise how great and how needed Great Ormond Street is needed.
GOSH saved my child, like they have done for alot of others. But it's not just the Dr's and Nurses. It's the catering staff, the Cleaner's, the Workmen, the Radiologist's, the Receptionists, the Porters, the Helpers, its everybody that makes up GOSH and its surroundings.
The buildings have been thought out with such care and attention to detail. The Disney are is just off from The Lagoon, which is the cateen eatery for the Hospital, but for parents and children in the Hospital for a long stint, saying your going to the canteen as opposed to saying your going to the Lagoon, both have different effects on a person's wellbeing and mental health. The Hospital as carefully thought these things through.
The Lagoon leads on to the wonderful world of Disney. Where you can play till your hearts content. Young and old alike will always have time for Disney, and the memories that they have from the past or the memories that they are currently making.
The Hospital is always clean. The staff are always friendly. They do not hesitate to listen to feedback if you have an issue, query or you just simply are not happy with how something is being done.
GOSH is all that and more that you see in adverts. It truly is a miracle the work they do here. And the buildings here are filled with never ending love, from patients, staff and from parents.

We are regulars at this amazing hospital. All areas of this hospital are delivered to a high standard of care. From the admninstrotrs to practitioners, everyone is caring, kind and empathetic.
The hospital is well equipped and organised.

GOSH has been a big part of our lives and the team from the neurology department has been so helpful our child’s consultant is so supportive helpful and our child is never shy always keeps up with follow up appointments cannot say the same to our local team only our epilepsy nurse not local consultant. The last 3 years we have been under GOSH and is going to carry on being under them and for that we are forever grateful and our way to say thank you we donate every month so thank you GREAT ORMOND STREET 🙂 if I could give more stars I would 5*+
