I Do Not recommend this hospital!
I recently went to it for a nasal endoscopy, and while the procedure itself was fine, the billing process was super frustrating. I was told it would cost £180, but later found out there were extra charges because I’m insured, so they charged me 740£ instead. No one mentioned these extra costs beforehand, which feels really sneaky.
It seems like they assume insured patients won’t question surprise fees since insurance covers them. I tried reaching out to the billing department for an explanation but got no response. So if you are an insured patient with the annual limit and the price matters to you, do not go to this hospital to avoid hidden charges, ridiculous prices and neglecting attitude

I had heart failure and attended st Johns and st Elizabeth. the experience was professional and reassuring. In all visits the treatment and information has helped me address some of the issues. I also had a heart procedure that was also professional and has improved my health. Dr Carroll and the Cardiology team are a credit to the hospital

This hospice is one of the nicest place I've ever been to.
The nurses and volunteers are amazing. Full of love and nothing is to much for them to do. They are walking Angels that want to look after you 100% of the time.
I can't praise them highly enough. Thank you from my heart

This review is specifically solely about the Urgent Care clinic at the hospital: The clinic used to be amazing, trustworthy when necessary, but it has worsened over time. When in an urgent situation, the doctor that attended to me failed to explain my situation to me properly and did not seek appropriate consent for next steps. I found I had to continue asking and insisting for explanations from different staff members, including imaging.

Also, in need of admittance for the urgent situation, the manager of the clinic came to see me as she wouldn't accept my insurance authorisation code in my vulnerable situation, trying to force payment from me. I was lucky I managed to argue even during urgent need, and have them accept written proof of the code. The manager was very unprofessional: even beyond this, she continued to harass me about payment which was beyond her jurisdiction of urgent care.

Athough I still value the care at the main hospital, after this experience I will not be using the urgent care clinic again. The level of care and consideration for patients' safety and rights must be improved.

Just left the InstaCare facility where I walked in at 6:27 saying that my Blood-pressure was high and also that I was having palpitations with pain on my left arm.
The nurse looked at me but no questions were asked. Dr. Victoria introduced herself to me saying they were closing at 7pm and they wouldn't be able to help me.
She asked me to go to Saint Mary's without even asking the nurse to check my blood pressure. If I had passed out in front of their door that would have been their responsibility. Not even checking the patient blood pressure before sending them away is absurd.
You can save a life with less than 30 minutes. What a shame!
I don't know how many pounds I spent in this hospital since I moved to this neighborhood and I am sure this visit would cost me some more, which I was always comfortable with since I've been always treated with care and respect. Not today though, I felt like a bother coming to a private Insta-Care to be sent away so fast because they were ready to close. Very disappointed.

Amazing experience at this hospital. All the doctors and nurses were so lovely and attentive, particularly Ms Charlotte Chaliha. After years of struggling with pain and not finding a suitable doctor, I finally felt supported and listened to. The service was extremely efficient, with scans and tests being carried out the same day. I would recommend this hospital and Ms Chaliha to everyone.

I broke my left fibula bone in a bouldering accident. Mr. Parag Jaiswal at St John & St Elizabeth Hospital did a surgery to mend the broken bone, installing a metal plate and screws. The treatment was excellent. The follow-up was excellent. Thank you!

Unfortunately my experience with this hospital has been shocking, and quite frankly not to the standard of a private healthcare organisation. I have had 1 procedure here, which was delayed over an hour. I understand delays happen, but the communication throughout was poor. I was then told I needed further testing and it took 3 weeks for me to be contacted by the consultant. 3 weeks for a private hospital is unreasonable and unsatisfactory. I am now continuing with a different hospital entirely, and have not had any contact from either consultant to explain why my referral took this long. I would not choose to return here again, especially with the amount of options nearby who are more responsive.
