I wanted to find a boxing trainer for my 14 year old son to learn the art of boxing as an out of school activity to build his confidence, fitness, boxing skills and discipline.

On my Google search, I came across Alex; he was extremely professional and quick with his responses. I was so impressed with his extensive boxing background, that I decided he was the best trainer for my son.

My son loves training with Alex! I have seen him grow from a complete novice, into a confident trainee. I know he’s in good hands with Alex and he improves each week. You really do get what you pay for, and Alex is worth every penny!

Alex is very knowledgeable about his craft. He incorporates everything you need in a session sprints for stamina, circuit, drills, technical and normal sparring, sharping up the mistakes I make. He pays attention to the details and takes his time to explain it properly. He’s a full on coach you can feel how passionate he is when he trains us!

Came to Alex with some muay thai experience looking to learn the basics of boxing. His ability to dissect and simplify complicated movements to make it easy to understand for people of all levels.
He also teaches you “why” you’re doing specific techniques and movements rather than simply running you through the motions so you understand why each action should be done in each scenario.

Fantastic session with Alex boxing. I had a white collar fight in March of 2023. In the lead up to the fight I needed some serious help with my training, so I started coming to Islington boxing club where I met Alex. He helped me win my fight in convincing fashion. I am now boxing elite level boxers and boxing very well against them. All thanks to Alex.
