Wonderful beach on the North-East beautifully-rugged, mostly untouched coastline. A real national gem. Within easy reach of some great places to stay short or long term. Also within easy reach of more days-out than you can cram into a 1 week stay.

Very spacious beach, it is so large that it never seems busy.
Only thing to be wary of it between July and September time there are a lot of jellyfish.

My daughter and I often take the boogy boards up to the beach here to brave the seas. Its a beautiful spot, just outside of Amble. Its perfect for fanily picnics on the beach, walkjng the dog and sand castle building. A stunning setting on the Northumberland coast with easy access to main roads too. If you need petrol or supplies Amble has several service stations and a Morrisons supermarket so you are sure to find everything you could need. They are wven selling inglatable kayaks and boody boards now. Go and enjoy!
