It’s ok. The ‘foot doctor’ couldn’t diagnose a ganglion cyst and it’s huge. I just got a ‘I don’t know what that is’, and it still hurts. I’ve popped it on my own with a needle. I can’t get an ADHD shared care agreement here. I’ve had to do my own investigative research into my hormonal issues. Requested full blood work for thyroid got one part 🤣. Had to order my own test. Honestly. They do their best but I’ve had to go private for almost everything….
Clearly very money orientated. 👍😆
My friend can get an ADHD shared care agreement at East Cowes 🤷‍♀️

Takes over 45 minutes for the surgery to answer the phone. A simple request takes over an hour to get an answer. I have run businesses and am appalled at the stress created by the inadequate phone service, especially in emergencies. Ended up having to call 111.

This is a particular praise to Dr Dominique
She is the only doctor including my renal professor specialist ( who never was so comprehensive as she was) to care comprehensively about my condition
I am terminally ill with cancer kidney, she has been highly correct to cover my pain properly after a bladder operation with Morphine and codeine , added a laxative which is important when you give morphine and codeine because N2 is as painful as N1 … also and very cleverly added a lorazepam tablet this has enabled me to sleep for the first time and for a long time now I have not had a good sleep ,but what a difference !!
Dr Dominique not only cared for the treatment of my symptoms but also went in depth to manage my case; this is rare to find such a talented doctor specialised in Family Medicine..!!

We spend hours trying to get an appointment on the phone. It takes an average of ten to fifteen minutes to get through each queue. It should be takes an average of one or two minutes to get a true someone. After connecting someone mostly don’t get any help. System is very bad

Completed econsult trying to get advice, however no response at all. Disgusting treatment of a caring profession. Didn't want to go to A&E as not an emergency, but was left in pain for days to try and self manage. Been an RGN for 30 years and cannot believe how bad it has become to try and see or indeed hear from a Dr. Cowes are one of the worst practices on the Island!!!

I am still in shock about the way one of the Receptionist spoke to a patient who was in front of me in the Reception. The lady in question was clearly distressed, she had had conflicting blood pressure readings and she was worried, she was waiting for the results of a CT Scan (emergency) and no one seemed to be able to access them. She said she had several health issues she was dealing with and she urgently needed to see a GP but needed the scan results before she saw a Doctor. The way this rude, ignorant Receptionist dealt with this lady was absolutely appalling. She was rude and actually started to belittle her and argue with her. She refused to book an appointment for her, but rudely told her she had to call at 8am to book a telephone triage call. The lady replied saying she had tried this but was always 25th in the queue and she had to go to work. She asked why she could not see a GP .. the resulting tirade from this Receptionist was unbelievable.! She actually told her to call 111. I am still angry about this. This Receptionist is NOT a Clinician and cannot diagnose a patients needs by shouting at her through a glass window!..She does not have an ounce of empathy in her body and should not be working in a place where she has to deal with the general public.

Today I had to go into pharmacy below med centre to pick up prescription. The service in there is shocking…. And very rude. 3 members of staff in there and not one person acknowledged me for at least 15 mins, when I was the only one waiting to be served. Finally got acknowledged by a blunt member of staff who helped me, but also seemed clueless about what they were doing. The whole time I was in there, a member of staff who I can only guess was a supervisor, was swearing and complaining about work they had to do and ended up locking the door and refusing customers so she could complete stock checking for about 20 minutes. I was glad I came in before that happened as I was on a schedule. I understand being under pressure, but there is a level of professionalism that should be kept in the work place, other wise customers end up feeling unwelcome and to be honest the staff all seemed like they didn’t want to be there and couldn’t care less about the customers in the room. If you’re not a people person, don’t get a customer facing job……
