Their service is terrible. No matter when I call, I can never get an appointment.

If the doctors aren’t providing service, why is the government still paying them? From what I understand, everyone is facing the same issue. They told me to call 111, even though I was only asking for an appointment a few days later.

It seems like the doctors are too busy spending the money they receive rather than actually seeing patients.

This isn’t just a one-time issue—it keeps happening. I’m going to file an official complaint with the ombudsman.

Ever since they moved the care they have offered has plummeted. Months waiting for appointments, never see the same GP twice, online contact app only open 8-11am on weekdays. Essentially if you work, no chance to contact the surgery. Appalling continuity of care. Will be moving ASAP after being with the practice nearly 50 years!

Awful, never been given an appointment to see a doctor. Only ever been able to see Lorraine Thoms, who said she would make a referral and didn’t. Meaning almost a year on, I’m still stuck on a waiting list. If you care about your health, this isn’t the place to go.

I’m sure the GP’s are good but It is virtually impossible to book an appointment, so I can’t comment. The receptionists won’t book appointments so you have to use the Anima app. However it is never available. The receptionist told me it is only active between 8-9am, then it reaches capacity. Hugely flawed system. I have now moved surgery as I was getting desperate for an appointment after weeks of trying & have had a much better experience.

Hopeless service these days! When they were at Beeches Green they were great, but since moving to the new premises in town they have steadily gone downhill! I've lost count of the amount of times over the last two years where I have gone to Tesco pharmacy to pick up my prescription and the surgery have not sent it through!!! I spoke to a receptionist in person and a doctor not long afterwards during my annual review, about setting up my prescription for the coming year, bi-monthly like the previous year! They both assured me it would be done, yet when I went to Tesco to pick it up today, it was not there!!! The practise tried to blame Tesco as usual. My annual review last year was a phone one, despite the fact I had Dengue fever earlier in the year! In previous years an appointment had been made for me and bloods taken etc! Also, the new online booking system is hopeless! When you go on the website, the first thing you should see is a big button to book an appointment! Instead, you have to click around for ages and all I could find was a button to make a Follow Up appointment? For people who are not so tech savvy it is hopeless. They want you to use the website, but as per their internal communications system, it is poor! I honestly think they are trying to deter patients! I had to call today due to the lack of prescription and I was 10th in queue and waited half an hour to be answered! For the umpteenth time now, I will have to make a special trip 3 miles to pick up my meds! I've had enough and will be moving surgery!

Phoned yesterday to get appointment or speak to a doctor got told by Reception that they have reached capacity and to phone 111, tried to explain i have rheumatoid arthritis and am on auto immune injections. I have an infection in my hand which was traveling up to my wrist and desperately needed to see or speak to someone again got told to ring 111 no wonder 111 and minor injuries are so stretched. Worst thing ever was Stroud Valleys merging , There is no compassion or care in this practice so disappointed, angry and disgusted.

Very poor service - although they are open to 6.30. They do not have capacity to provide any emergency appointments as the doctors will have left the building before then- quote from receptionist! - even if it’s to see a sick child with high temperature and it’s within normal working hours! Their advice - phone 111! Surprise, surprise - and people wonder why hospitals are so stretched as they are constantly picking up GP workloads!

Absolutely shocking service, this drs are not educated on the human body and they have a god complex. They ignore pain, belittle, invalidate and dismiss pain and symptoms. I am never going back . I’ll take my chances with Chinese medicine
