I have been suffering from Shingles from last 2 weeks and trying to get appointment with a doctor but my requests are falling on deaf ears despite going to the surgery with infection and swollen eye. Receptionist even refused to give me a repeat prescription and asked me to visit A&E to get it. Pathetic service offered by this surgery running on public money. They clearly do not understand and empathetic towards patients pain & agony and run it like a business milking public money through NHS. Really disappointed how this surgery is even operational with such attitude towards patients. Receptionist behaviour is appalling and failed to differentiate between routine and emergency appointments and never give a satisfactory response on why GP appointments are not available. Only response reception has, GP is not an emergency service and you should go to nearest waking A&E center. My advise to this surgery l, if you can't provide a service you are deemed to please close the center and give someone more efficient a chance to serve public and provide better health service.

Says surgery opens at 8:30 so rang Monday at 8:30 for emergency apt only to be told they are all gone. When I asked how, they then told me they give the appointments away at 8:00
Staff on phonelines are rather rude and abrupt too

I would give zero starts if I could. My GP referred me here to have an ultrasound done. When I phoned the health centre up to ask when I’ll get my appointment I been told there isn’t my referral gone through from my GP and I have to contact my GP. My GP proofed them wrong showed me the request been sent through. Once I’ve got appointment and my ultrasound was done I been told by a doctor my result will be sent back to my GP on the same day. 4 days passed, GP still didn’t received my report. Have to phone them up several times. Even my GP requested them to send back the results. Useless, liar gang!

My 99yr old mother has had nothing but top rate service from Dr Sheikh and his fellow team. We have the highest regard for South Hornchurch. Keep up your professional, kind and helpful services and THANK YOU ALL.
The only thing that is sometimes a problem is to get parked in the disable bays, as non badge holders do park in them.

My late wife came here for treatment a couple of years ago, and although the treatment itself was fine (especially with her difficult condition), I have since been contacted 3 times now for unpaid dental fees (that she was exempt from). Each time I've contacted them to tell hem that my wife has sadly passed away and was exempt anyway, they've told me that they'll update their records, but here we are again with me having received another letter addressed to my wife chasing up unpaid fees...

I was seen by the lovely team on the first floor scanning and gynaecology yesterday! Their last few patients had cancelled but they still stayed late to see me at the end of the day. Saw me straight away and their communication prior to the appointment was excellent by the lovely lady on reception. I was seen by a wonderful male doctor (sorry I don’t know any of your names) they all made me feel super at ease! Thanks again!

Receptionist (unsure of name, middle aged with blondish curly hair) makes every interaction with this surgery stressful and embarrassing. Asks what medical problem you have in front of waiting room and presses harder and louder when reluctant to answer. She has made decisions on prescriptions which have not only impacted physical health but also ability to work and mental health with no qualifications to do so. I will be submitting a formal complaint after a family members most recent visit as this behaviour is not only unprofessional but potentially dangerous to patients wellbeing.

They give you an appointment, you arrive on time and they state you came late. You have proof as a text message and they state its a mistake. This GP is honestly a joke. It’s always a good idea to call to confirm your appointment because these lot are clueless what’s going on.
