I've had only great experiences with this practice. Seen so many different Dr's and they are not only great Dr's but have all been genuinely compassionate and had a lovely bedside manner. Great with my kids too. The reception staff are really on it and get stuff done quickly and efficiently. We've nearly always managed to get same day apps unless non urgent. The booking system is really good so not holding for hours on the phone. Couldn't be happier with them.

Nothing but praise for all the staff at Poplar Primary Care Centre. The service they offer is personalised and goes above and beyond. For example: phoned the practice today spoke to Sarah. I was on hold for a very short time. Then Sarah advised me of the action she had taken. I said I would check the App later for the info... no need - within 5 mins she called me back to confirm the action had been completed. I know this wouldn't be possible every time, but it shows when the team can they will. It saved me having to log into the App to retrieve the information.

I have been seen face 2 face by medical staff, practice nurse and HCA (Health Care Assistant). I also have had telephone consultation. All of these interactions have been with a fabulous group of staff who are caring and listen to you not looking at their screen - unless adding to your record.

The environment - waiting area and consulting rooms are light and airy, clutter free which only boost your confidence in the professional service you will receive 😀.

I rarely write reviews but I felt this one is very deserved. I honestly think Poplar Road Primary are a brilliant GP practice. I find the econsult option easy to use- luckily I am good with technology (although I have been at the practice and heard them help people to complete it on the phone if they are unable to online). I have always had a quick response and have always felt appointments are booked in a time scale appropriate to condition. My baby is registered with the surgery also and I have always found staff including Drs, nurse and reception staff to be very friendly and supportive. I have recommended poplar to others as in a difficult time of NHS/ healthcare funding I have continued to have a very good experience. Thank you to all poplar primary staff.

This is a lovely practice. The reception staff were always very helpful fitting my elderley mom in with an appointment ASAP. Doctors were always lovely to her also. She's recently passed away now but had nothing but praise for the staff & medical professionals. I would recommend this practice to anyone & must add its spotlessly clean too.

Great GP practice. Nurses and doctors all come across as very friendly and genuinely caring. So far I have never had an issue getting a same day appointment for myself or my children. The practice is clean, bright, warm and welcoming. Much better than my previous GP

I've been nothing short of impressed with this practice since we joined some years ago. My children, husband and I are all registered here. They always take our concerns seriously, are very thorough in their examinations, are always attentive, and always do what is necessary including making referrals if needed. They are very quick to respond either by phone or text, and I've not found it hugely difficult to get an appointment at all. I've found the doctors, nursing staff and other clinicians nothing short of exemplary and incredibly professional. I always use the e-consult form (now replaced with a simpler system on the website), and have always got what I needed or my family needed, whether this be a telephone consultation, repeat medication, an in-person appointment, or something else. I have had minimal contact with the reception staff in person or on the phone, but when I have needed to talk to them they have been fairly efficient.

An all around excellent practice with a high standard of care, from my experience.

By far the best surgery I've been to in nearly 40 years. All the clinical staff I've had over the years have been professional, efficient and actually listen to you. Been for both a long term condition, post surgery care and one off problems. Sometimes have issues with e consult but reception staff have been helpful in explaining it and it's great to get an appointment often the same day

I have always received excellent care at this practise and have always been able to be seen quickly. I always use the online contact form instead of trying to call and am always contacted in an efficient manner.

I would say that their website needs a big overhaul to make it much much less cluttered and clearer so people (especially older patients) could locate the online 'Florey' form to get appointments.

Grateful to have a very good local surgery and a great hardworking team of doctors, nurses and midwives.
