The main tills are hardly ever open. Two self service booths. The only alternative is to queue up at the cigarette and spirits counter and wait while someone is faffing about buying lottery tickets.
This shop is only suitable for dropping in for a few items in a basket.
They play the most dreadful trashy music which ensures that I wont spend more time than I absolutely have to in the store.
I like to support the co-op but now that the thieving council are introducing parking charges in the only car park I will probably go even more to Morrisons just round the corner. Better supermarket anyway.

It’s in a building with no natural light! It feels cramped and shares its space with other stores, just not a nice experience

As a housebound customer I miss visiting the store, though my son does when he visits me. So I'm very grateful to have shopping delivered via Snappy Shopper. Not only is it delivered quickly, usually within an hour, but if there are any queries about my order someone will phone me, and they always sound very cheerful.

A bit more expensive than the big supermarkets, but great produce and good selection of local products. Quite often there are no tills open and you have to queue at the cigarette checkout though - which doesn't have enough space for baskets or bags... I don't understand why?

I love the Co-Op for all its ethical products and support for local producers. It's such a brilliant community shop. Helpful friendly staff, plenty of choice. Nice fresh veg and you can even buy great clothes in the store attached, or grab a coffee in.the cafe. Cooks meals are a bit of a bonus and the wines are excellent quality and value, especially the special offers.

Still going strong despite the presence of Morrison's in the town. This centrally placed store is a real hub in thevtown. Staff are friendly and helpful and there is a good selection of produce. The rationalisation of store space by bringing in the lovely Paddy and Scott's outlet was a fantastic idea. It means you can shop and rest - very helpful for disabled customers. I would give a fifth star if there were a few more events to enrich the shopping experience but apart from that we'll done and long maybe continue in the town. Use it or lose it! 🙂
