I had an appointment for a blood test on Saturday because I'm anaemic and I was having issues and the doctor didn't say anything bad. However when I went to give my blood test the nurse who took my blood was really rude to me and it was the same woman last time who did the same thing to me. She was asking many questions very aggressively. She repeatedly asked me why I was having a blood test and that there was no point to it when I was obviously having problems with my health.

Yet again another first class experience at Broadway surgery on 3/6/2024
Being a Monday expected phone lines to be busy, they were but was still able to get a ring back and was called into surgery for a face to face appointment with a delightful, caring, didn't rush me Doctor. I'm so glad this surgery is maintaining this standard of care.

I've just spoke to a receptionist who was so rude and lied to me, when I asked for her name she cut the phone off, I expect so much more from such services and really feel braodway health centre needs training on how to communicate efficiently, I'm not calling you to get to know you or your poor personality I want medical attention. Just a very poor service on a whole.

I have several complicated co-morbidities and lately began having problems managing my blood pressure. I saw Mrs Azam Akramy twice who provided excellent, sound advice and continue to monitor my conditions. I have utter confidence in Mrs Akramy as I have found her to be easy to talk to about personal matters (not always easy with strangers) and understanding of my anxieties. I can definitely recommend this practice (I have been a patient here for 12 years) and in particular, Mrs Akramy.

In this practice, you don't ever expect to be treated with care and respect from their staff, after more than 3 year i left this GP for good. I ended up in a hospital for 2 days after the doctor subscribed antibiotics for the third times in a MONTH without allowing me to see him and either send a picture to determine the severe of my infection.

They are very slow. They tell you to come in at a certain time and take 45 mins to an hour to see you. It is frustrating especially if you plan your day around their appointments.

This surgery has most definitely, definitely improved. It is now run more efficiently.
Get call backs from GP when arranged.
GP will phone to offer advice after any tests. Prescriptions dealt with immediately and at pharmacy for collection within hours.
I hope it will continue to provide a first class service and not slip back into horrendous ways it used to be. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful.
Special mention to Lorna who is a asset to this surgery.

I can see reviews have been left now with positive feedback. However, I feel that was staff posting these to boost the low rating. I called first thing and was first in que. Got held back by the GP for a call back and then he said my prescription will be sent to pharmacy. So I waited a few days as I work full time. When I went they said it had not been sent. This was serious medication that I then ran out off. Again I call back and again im put back in the call backs. I guess mental health is least priority until you are in hospital ‍♂️
