I assume we cannot give the names of the consultants we are reviewing, but the supposedly positively rated neurosurgeon I had seen previously at this hospital kept us waiting for almost an hour every time an appointment was booked. Then the consultation lasted around 15 minutes as it felt like this consultant did not care at all and just wanted you out the room. Additionally, I would expect more from this consultant, given an operational procedure was performed recently and the aftercare and follow ups have been below satisfactory and I would expect a consultant of this level to show that they cared more. A very disappointing experience which I would not be recommending.

Worse than the NHS. I paid £340 for four types of blood tests, but later found out they only performed two tests and still charged me the full amount. I've been waiting for my refund for two months, and every time I call, a different person gives me a different story.

Excellent care from consultant, anaesthetist doctors and nurses physio and porters nothing was too much trouble they were all amazing and looked after me well during my 2 day stay following back surgery.lots of encouragement given on my recovery . They never once forgot to give me my Parkinson drugs which was fantastic. The food was fabulous too and my daughter and husband also got fed on the day of my operation at midday and in the evening which was very impressive with copious amounts of tea and coffee offered when they wanted special thank you to Denise, Row Anne, and Colette for their care and attention it started my recovery of well..

I visited Harbourne hospital for the first time as a day patient. As an ex QE nurse, it was wonderful to receive such care and attention from doctors and nurses Nothing was too much trouble. It was so much better than a nearby well known existing private hospital, where the nursing care was well below nursing standards.
This is the best hospital I have ever visited. If you can, get yourself referred there

Was greeted from the doorstep and was guided with the staff introducing themselves to me explaining everything to me. The team assisted me very well and the consultants checked me over, and put time into seeing everything. A brilliantly smooth experience here. Would definitely recommend!

I was in hospital overnight, and I must say that I was totally impressed with the whole set up. From the staff at the front reception, porters, meal staff, Drs & nurses they were absolutely fantastic.
The hospital was more like a 5 star hotel, it was better than most hotels that I have stayed in. The food was fantasic and very tasty.
A special mention to Raquel & Ayo who looked after me during my stay, they were the consumate professionals with my health and well being their top priority. They could not do enough, they explained everything in detail as to what they were doing and what was happening or going to happen during my stay.
They are a credit to the hospital.

I have been trying to get some information about an orthopaedic consultant out of this hospital for over a month. Have been passed around switchboards from the 020 number and now the Harborne one. After finally speaking to someone i sent an email on 13th January 2024 with a request only to be responded 1st February to ask if i wanted an orthopaedic consultant ? sent another email on the back of that with some clear questions which have never been answered.

Rang again today, only to be told they do not have any yet and will come back when they have. (I don't think)

Does this new hospital want business or not, there lack of just answering a few simple questions and common decency to respond is terrible
