Overall care not too bad. Our mom spent 5 weeks there after a stroke .But totally lied to us about the after care that our mom would receive. In a planning meeting we were told that our mom would receive 6 weeks of free after care. There were 6 of us in that meeting.( 3 staff and 3 family members).! After we got mum home (with 22 hrs notice). We were informed that we would get only 72 hrs free care . Then we would be financially assessed. We knew that we would be assessed but 72 hours and six weeks is completely different!! After we sat down at home and talked about it . My father phoned Moseley hall … and asked about the 6 weeks care only to be told that this WAS never said !!! Now I know what was said and so do they !
Don’t trust what they say ..and ask for everything to be written down. Because if it is anything like our experience..you’ll be completely blind sided!!!!!

My mother has been in this hospital for 4 months and her overall health as declined, some of the nurses in the hospital do a fantastic job but there are some that don't seem to care. The social worker working with my mother is an absolutely waste of time and does not communicate or get in touch with family members to tell you what's going on cannot wait to get my mother out of this hospital.

Staff that have no compassion or care for patients. Went to visit my uncle on Eid, which a special day for Muslims and a special festival in the Islamic calendar. My uncle has a cold cup of tea by his bed space. A HCA comes to collect the cup and asks if my uncle is going to drink it. I said it’s cold can you please get him a warm cup of tea to drink, HCA responded I will try. He did not get it instead he stood at the end of the patient bay and ignored our request for our uncle. Very disappointed with this service will continue to monitor, if it gets worse will go through the complaints process. Failing to meet one’s nutritional and hydration needs as well as patients needs and wishes is a system failure.

If I could give this hospital 10 star's I certainly would. My Mam passed away here last month, the attention, care and love she received was absolutely above and beyond. She was able to die with dignity. A massive thank you to all the staff on ward 6
I have to mention 2 extremely kind Healthcare Assistants Hardeep Gandam and Claire Kelly, nothing was too much trouble for them. I will always remember their kindness to my Mam. Also to the lovely Pauline Ryan Ward Receptionist for being so helpful and kind

So my dad was in for 7 weeks, the nursing staff are good but the ones that help are not bothered about the patients they let him run out of oxygen numerous times while I was there and had to sort it out myself, they told me to fetch his stuff on Sunday so I did in a taxi which cost £22 they never gave me his phone or jewelry because it's locked in a safe and I wasn't able to get it till the Monday however they told me they would arrange to send it and phone me on the Monday which they never did,I rang them today (Tuesday)they have now said they can't send it and I shouldn't have been told this,so now I've gotta go all back over there to fetch while trying to deal with all the arrangements for the funeral and his death, also most of the staff don't speak English so cat understand you or their patients when they ask for something!

One of the best hospitals in the UK and the staffs were very friendly and nice. I received the best service in this hospital. Especially ward 9, rehab centre. Scott, the physiotherapist put a lot of effort on me and encouraged me to be back on my feet, including the rest of the staffs. I would definitely recommend this hospital. Thank you everyone in ward 9.

Absolutely disgusting treatment of my father. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. There is no care no compassion nothing on this ward. All they care about is kicking the patient out. You should all be ashamed. Truly. The level of service towards patients is zero. The care is zero. My father has suffered spasticity in his arm to the point it should NEVER have got to through clear neglect by people at this ward.
