My husband was admitted on a Friday in August with a collapsed lung. The excellent A and E team stabilized him and on the Sunday evening he was having surgery. We were visiting from Yorkshire and were so impressed with everything. The care, expertise, and cleanliness was second to none. Thank you to the entire team for taking should good care of him.

Fantastic hospital, caring and down to earth staff. Looked after my mom very well when she was recently admitted for aneurism surgery. Clean in all areas we encountered and lots of natural light in rooms. Only downside are the lifts.

Not a pleasant experience. The waiting period was too long, and considering I spent the night sleeping on a chair, yep, no bed available for overnight admitted patient. Not so great.

Your driver let us know that a mess occurred on this trip that required cleaning. To compensate your driver, we added a Cleaning Fee to the final price of your trip. This fee will appear on your payment method statement within 3-5 business days. If you have any questions, please reach out to us.

THIS is what I've been charged by Uber
for 4 mile trip!! Claiming the driver had to clean car after my trip, when I'd come straight out of hospital to his car. I'd created 'a mess'? What sort of Uber SCAM is this? Disgraceful. About to close account with this company! Disgraceful.

I'm having vital treatment for Macular degeneration. The injections aren't pleasant but they are saving my eyesight.
The last 2 appointments have been cancelled by the hospital without letting me know until I've arrived at reception.
There are statistics for people who don't turn up to appointments. I'd like to know the statistic for the cancelled appointments without telling the patient.
I now feel compelled to waste time phoning the hospital to find out if future appointments will go ahead.

Literally went in to take a photo of the bust sculpture of Our late great Queen's Mother. It looks like the Queen's Mother rather than the Queen. The stars are for the bust. As have never used this particular hospital.
Also has a curious mirrored looping sculpture outside of it's entrance. That I felt would be much better surrounded by water than the flower arrangement at it's base.
And the reclining bronze Romanesque figures outside too. Although I think they're possibly to do with neighbouring Metchley Roman Fort.

I was admitted as an emergency patient on the 19.6.24 to ward 408, the standard of care I received was excellent. The nursing staff on the ward went above and beyond. The doctors, consultants, theatre staff/ technician's, anesthetics and domestic support were a credit to the hospital. It was a very stressful and difficult time for me.
Their kindness and good communication and medical skills helped me through this. They all deserve the pay rise they are asking for. Its not until your hour of need, do you realise the massive team it takes to deliver that standard of care. Thank you so much to all of you.
