This is a complaint against Groundwork working with Wessex Water who came at mine to try in reducing the water consumption. Back in July they visited my property and replaced free of charge the head of the shower with a low pressure one! One or two days later it was no longer possible to take any shower and all the water was flowing straight to the bathtub sewerage. Hence, because of the shower head replacement the bath tap did get broken! I then called back Wessex water and explained the situation. On the 17/07/2023 they sent a qualified plumber who decided to go ahead by replacing the bath tap but by altering the piping system under the bath in order to fit the new tap. Hence, he did cut-off only one of the pipes and install a flexible pipe between the source pipe and the new tap. Then, he went away by asking me to complete the work by putting the silicone around the tap (which I did do it soon after) and without checking water meter for the presence of leaks. After about three weeks I noticed that all of sudden a sign of damage did appear on the kitchen ceiling just in line to where the bath was. I did then dis-mounted the panel of the bath and realised that it was all damped under the bath. Hence, I assessed the presence of the leak by reading the water meter where I figured out a leak of about +70L/day. Hence, I immediately called back Wessex Water to inform about the situation. On the 22/08/2023 another plumber did come to my property and acknowledged the leak and the damages caused by it between the bathroom and the kitchen space. He performed a temporal repair and thankfully the leak did stop. I then decided to arrange the bathroom repair as quickly as possible because its status became absolutely disgusting and unsafe! Knowing that my wife and my son had to travel abroad at the beginning of September and having found the availability of a carpenter / plumber during that period I decided to get the bathroom sorted just in that period. And, in the same instance, we thought that it did make sense to refurbish the whole bathroom! After all, I sent the breakdown cost of the repair and asking also for covering the kitchen ceiling damage. They came back to me via their liability insurance by reporting a not-entirely true story and confirming that they have no offers to make against the case.

Good meeting rooms with all required facilities. Light airy and modern with adequate parking all within 5-10 mins walk of the city centre. Perfect for a couple of days seminar with Brindley place's cafes and bars and broad streets hotels all within short distance. A little tucked away but right by the canal so surprisingly quiet.

An hour and a half I’ll never get back. Green doctor sent nothing he said he would. Clearly fulfilling his call quota without actually doing any of the follow up

Great venue for training, a little hard to find due to the never- ending redevelopment of Birmingham.
