My father has been at Heather View for 2 weeks now after moving from a very unsatisfactory previous care home. The difference has been night and day in my father's demeanour and we are so delighted so far with care he is receiving. From the first contact to the day to day care and attention, we cannot fault the support, professionalism, nurturing and kind staff at all levels. My father, whilst with advanced dementia and terminal cancer, is still social and is enjoying the many activities Heather View offers, very much tailored to the needs of dementia residents. We love seeing him enjoy a glass of wine with his lunch and being treated with respect and dignity. With a cinema , activity room, music room, cafe, hairdressers and beautiful bright and light en-suite bedrooms, it really is a lovely environment. Having viewed over 12 homes to find the right place for our father we are so delighted to have found Heather View and know that our father's end of life care is the best it can be.

My Dad has been a resident for 4 months and the care at Heatherview has been excellent. At all levels, the team obviously work well together and have supported Dad to settle, get to know his wants and needs and celebrate his personality! Not only have the care team looked after Dad, they have also offered advice and support to the family with the processes involved in supporting Dad and navigating the complicated system of funding with the local authority. It has been a difficult time to accept that Dad needs full time care but having made that decision, it is a relief that he has been so well cared for , thank you.

My mother needed an urgent nursing home placement and Heatherview stepped up (thank you). All the staff are really caring, friendly and interested in their residents and family members. They're respectful and always inform me when there is a change in my mothers care and do their upmost to give my mother the best care they can including getting the dietary information just right. The home has a welcoming atmosphere with a fantastic array of facilities (incl. Cafe) and activities, they welcome doggy visitors which means my mother gets to see her beloved dog daily. The home is clean, well maintained, warm and smells very pleasant. I could write an essay but to cut that short, all I want to say is I highly recommend this home and wish that if the time came for me, I would love it here.

My Dad was very against moving into respite care, but after looking after Mum with Alzheimer's for the past 6 years, really needed a rest and some help. We tried last summer for them to go in a home at Bexhill but after one day of being there, he wanted to go home. We all visited Heather View and after being shown around Dad was very keen to move there, it is truly like a 5 star all-inclusive hotel, with the bonus of being completely looked after. All the staff are professional and caring looking after Mum and Dad. They have now been there 8 days and loving it. We are now hoping they will stay permanently. Spend the rest of their lives without struggling. Everyone deserves that!

Natasha’s enthusiasm and obvious love for the residents and their families has borne such fruit. Heather View has a homely and inviting feel to it

We recently supported a resident's family and did the arrangements for her funeral. She told her family that Heather View was the happiest she has ever been, and for that I know the family are truly grateful.

I was delighted to be allowed to attend the gentlemans "pie and a pint" lunch at Heather View in March. I enjoyed meeting both visitors and residents. We had enjoyable chats over lunch.

The service from the staff was excellent.

I moved my Mother in to Heather View in early March and she has settled in very well with the help of the caring, kind and supportive staff. There is a lovely, happy atmosphere in there and visitors are always made very welcome too. The facilities are excellent and comfortable as are the bedrooms and there is plenty of entertainment laid on. I would highly recommend Heather View.
