This surgery does not even deserve one star. It is awful. Had to call multiple times for some tablets requested by the hospital and they didn’t do it. Had to call them for 3 days straight in a row. They still didn’t do it, delaying the surgery.
Staff do not listen to patients, they do not help and cause more distress. The receptionist don’t do their jobs, they’re too busy talking amongst themselves.
They make so many mistakes and do not take any accountability for it. The staff are rude! They all need training in customer service and experience because they do not know how to speak to patients. This needs a makeover and new staff who actually do their job and care for their patients and who are not rude!

I've been with these guys for 3/4 years now and have never had any issues, the reception staff are all lovely and the doctors are really nice and helpful to. I've always had no issues seeing the docs through appointments and most recently on the phone due to Covid, they are really kind and super helpful. I'm now moving my wife across also as her surgery is useless and I know she will be taken care of with Allendale Surgery. Thank you team 🙂

I am very happy with Dr Bagga at Allendale surgery. On two occasions I had a phone consultation with her. Once for myself and once for my little daughter. Both times she diagnosed the issue correctly and advised me appropriately. On both occasions I had been unaware of the seriousness of the symptoms. If it had not been for Dr Bagga's astute clinical skills we would have suffered needlessly. I was very impressed that such professional service was provided on a phone consultation. Since then I have consulted her on various occasions, thankfully for minor issues. It is very reassuring to have a doctor I can trust.

After reading all the negative reviews, I thought that it is better for the Surgry not to exist.
However, & in all fairness, now they have introduced the Triage system which determines the priority of which a patient should be treated, I have experienced two incidents, with the main doctor and the clinical pharmacist. They were very professional and really furnished all aspects of my queries as well as medication concerns. Please don’t take it personally and understand that they have far too much on their plates and after all they’re human. Keep up the good work Allendale Road Surgery.

Receptionist are the worst i have ever seen. They have probably a paper in front of the pc saying there is no appointments for today you need to call 111 or go to emergencies! Even though i said it is a 6weeks baby! I miss my lanfranc medical centre! 20 times better then this garbage customer service!

Terrible service by the receptionist! Asking for personal details of why you are here in front of other people, last time I checked it wasn’t professional to talk about medical issues in-front of other patients. Sorry but why does a receptionist determine who gets an emergency appointment? I’ve tried for 2 weeks to get an appointment for an on going issue and been refused; in now at the 4 week mark! Absolutely, appalling service. Lastly I was told to come at 8am to get an appointment or wait for one; get there and get told that isn’t possible. I will be changing Doctors.

Absolutely wonderful. My partner visited Guys hospital in absolute agony a few weeks ago, was dismissed with stomach pains, and told it was just acid and to take gaviscon. 2 days later, I took him to Allendale Road Surgery, he was able to register and see a GP the same day. It was a locum DR, who examined him, the staff took his blood pressure, and checked his heart with an ECG, and took blood.
After examining him, they sent us straight to hospital to the surgical assessment unit with a letter of urgency. His appendix has burst and he needed emergency surgery, which they spotted straight away.
I cannot praise the staff enough at the surgery. Their quick and precise diagnosis helped this situation becoming worse, and ultimately saved his life.
The after care has been secong to none, kind and caring, and completely faultless.

Worst surgery ever. Please don't register here if you are a local resident and try to find another surgery. Dr. is really really hostile and interrupts whilst patients speak. He doesn't even listen to the patients properly and just tries to get done. And this is not only myself, I have heard this from other residents as well who are registered here. I don't know what NHS are doing. They need to look that how surgeries behave with their patients.
