First visit to boston house today. Shame there isn’t more obvious signage for reception - I came in through entrance B as instructed on my appointment but the ground floor reception was closed and the place looked deserted! A gentleman who was waiting for someone suggested I try upstairs.
When I got where I needed to be, the staff I saw in the eye unit were all lovely. In particular Dr Nikose, who explained everything in detail, and was very patient and caring.

My practitioner Kirsty was amazing! Put me completely at ease, was friendly, professional and reassuring. Kirsty would get 5 stars, but the experience at the appointment overall was far from great, with another member of staff being particular rude and sarcastic. Had many appointments here, and more often than not the eye clinic staff have all been fantastic. I will be competing on online feedback form to outline my specific concerns that I had, and also to comment on how brilliant Kirsty was.

The nurses and doctors that I saw in the eye ward were very calming and supportive, making the tests as pleasant as they could be. If you're nervously looking at reviews before planned tests like I was this morning, don't worry you're in safe hands here.

I expected to no longer need eye. Drops the doctor,who could not understand when I said I was aware of the eye, wanted me to continue using the drops and for both eyes but how often or when he was not direct.

Absolutely lovely staff, was in and out in less that 20 minutes, Entrance B level 2 eye department, very helpful and efficient, couldn't believe how fast I was seen..

Parking is an absolute disgrace here, not enough parking spaces, cars are parking everywhere making it dangerous. Appointment times not adhered to, leading tomassive waits.
