Visited here for a meeting and you can see as soon as you walk in they are involved with community and people in many different ways.
I went to reception and was greeted by a guy who was very welcoming, cursing I did not get his name, he is a great asset to the place. He told me where I needed to go. The room the meeting was held in was nice and clean, again with a great information board. When I left the guy actually said goodbye and called me by name, see told you he was good! Great place.

Great place to go to if you need help with almost anything you could possibly need and I can't fault the staff and the support that you are able to get if there is anything you need help with from food to mental health issues or advice on addiction this is the best resource available for people who might have a need for it but they would be happy to see members of the community just pop in for a chat about whatever it is so don't let a fantastic service like this go to waste because they have so much more to offer people and the only way to find out if they have something for you is to nip in and find out.
I promise you will be surprised at what is available here

Good facility, one thing is that every single person smokes in the no smoking areas there is literally signs everywhere. When I asked someone about he just said everyone smokes… he had a red lanyard too so probably staff. Nasty really.

Great local community centre, but could do with more friendlier staff members on the reception.

Miss Brown is lovely, but the rest are quite unhelpful.

Great courses offered, great mental health services a nice cafe that makes you "pay what you want" on some days.

Also you can get referred to the local food bank here.

I've been using this community center for about 8yrs now. I've spent hours here on many occasions. Over the years I have used the advice services and attended many meetings and events from citizens advice to art clubs and even community nursing and self help councillors. There used to be a cafe run by Manchester mind that was good, I think it is going to start again in the near future. This COVID pandemic has closed down a lot of the things that are going on here but it is slowly getting back to normal, the receptionists are still here and make you feel welcome as always. Overall it's a good community center and usually has some good, helpful services in there. Updated August 2020. I've not been here for a couple of years now, but it's still here and functioning as a community center. There are a few things going on but not as many as there was before the pandemic.
