I have been using this surgery for over 10 years and prior to this review, I would have given it a 1 star as I had often found their GPs very dismissive, always rushing you, not fully listening to you. I mean I even had 1 of the female doctors telling me literally as soon as I came in through the door, 'what can I do for you' even before I had a chance to get anywhere near the chair to sit down. She was so rude and lacked empathy during my appointment with her, that I burst into tears. She was only concerned I was crying because she didn't want me leaving her office in tears and people wondering if she upset me.

Anyway, all of these were until I met the wonderful Dr Sana Ahsan who has been nothing short of wonderful, a God sent really. She patiently listens to my concerns with empathy, is thorough and actively looks for solutions, sometimes even going over and beyond to get a response when she sends a referral. I absolutely refuse to see anyone else apart from her. Thank you so much, Dr Ahsan.

The nurse, Mrs Balvinder Johal (I think she is fairly new) is also very lovely and is great at her job.

There is also a lovely guy at the reception, I think his name may be Ibrahim. He's always polite, with a smile and helpful both on the phone and in person. The female receptionist however comes across rude, reluctant to help and dismissive!

The only other negative I'd point out is when you see the GP, they allow you to speak only about one issue (a notice about this is even there on the wall). And if you want to talk about any other thing, you need to book another appointment. I think this is such a hassle especially if it's something that requires urgent attention. As long as you are within your 10mins, then one should be able to discuss more than 1 issue!

Mr. Mohammed Omar, the in-house physiotherapist, provided a thorough assessment of my knee injury. He carefully listened to my symptoms, explained the possible injuries I may have sustained, and outlined a clear action plan for my recovery. His professionalism and expertise were evident throughout, and I would highly recommend his services.

Doctor Elizabeth Torosyan
Cannot thank her enough, she is very thoughtful and empathetic.
She has been a great support for me, she is so caring , has excellent medical knowledge, is very considerate and has an excellent manner.
I cannot thank her enough.
She is the only doctor I want to see from Yeading medical centre.
I cannot put in words my happiness to have finally met a doctor with her calibre.
Hope she remains at the surgery for a very long time .

When I was a little girl, I was really poorly. My mum took me to see the doctor (Dr Patel). I wasn't prescribed the right antibiotics, and my mum wasn't happy. Now, my mum took me to another doctor for a second opinion and immediately made sure I was treated properly. And apparently, when this happened, I was taken off the list. My mum never took me back to this doctor.

Also, back in 2012, my dad was taken ill. I said to the doctor that my dad is not well. She said that it was a chest infection. I said no it's not as my dad smoked. He needed a chest X-ray ASAP. Then he had to go to hospital as his sugar level dropped. It was there my dad was diagnosed with lung cancer. So, thanks to the doctor, my dad could have lived longer. If it was caught early, something could have been done about it. Sorry to be negative about this, but I feel I had to get this out as I have been holding it in for far too long.

A doctor’s duty is to help, not harm. A patient barely able to open their eyes due to a severe infection, struggling to speak, and suffocating day and night is sent away with nothing but advice to buy paracetamol at a pharmacy. Is this really what they teach you in those expensive medical schools? Absolutely unacceptable. I strongly recommend avoiding this "MEDICAL" centre....

We booked an appointment on 23rd of October with my partner and we came on time, however the receptionists were busy and my partner waited before telling them she is in for appointment, they were clearly annoyed and told my partner she was late even though it was just a few minutes.
After the appointment with the doctor, my partner came crying and said the doctor was rude and told her they don't have time after she came to them with a mental health issue and needed some advice on the medication she should take as she was considering changing them. The doctor prescribed the same medication as before despite my partner's request to try different ones.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank Ibrahim, Ruchi and Dr Ali when I attended the surgery last week in a very poorly state and unable to use the stairs to go upstairs to see the doctor due to the level of pain I was suffering from. Thank you for your help and support while I was feeling really vulnerable and in a state of unbearable pain and agony. I really appreciated your care and attention on the phone and while I was in that really terrible state attending in person last week, and really struggling to cope. Thank you.
