Having experienced abdominal pain over weekend, I called the surgery at 08:10 on a Monday morning, I explained my situation to the receptionist, who offered me an appointment at 10:15. When I entered the consultation, the gp advised she was a trainee, under Dr Marvi. She listened and examined my area of pain. She said she would call the hospital and asked me go and do a urine sample. When I returned, she was in conversation with a surgical register- who agreed to see me immediately. I went to ward B5 and was admitted and operated on later that day. There is nothing that could have been improved upon. Well done all at Wordsley Green Surgery.

Attended the surgery for an ECG.was seen by an excellent nurse called Katie who tried to put me at my ease as I was very anxious.She also spent time talking to me after the test.

Also saw Doctor Mavi after who was very thorough ,put me at ease and explained the results of the test.

Unfortunately you have to put 1 star to make a review!! Veterinary practices treat animals with far more consideration respect and care! I have been with this doctors for many many years! If your thinking if joining please please dont!! Throughout my time I have been through Alzeihmer diagnosis with parents, mental health with siblings and issues for children and myself! The fight has left me anxious and never wanting to call the doctors, now im left with a long term illness that could have been prevented! This is also a training practice, unfortunately we have been at the unqualified clueless careless end if this aswell!! 1 good doctor cant carry them all! I just dont know where to go now!

I wish I'd left this practice sooner. You stop even bothering to ask for help because they make it so difficult to get any. It is a 5 week wait for 'routine' appointments (BY PHONE!!) and if you can't get up and ring repeatedly at 8am (I have chronic fatigue), then that is all you can get. You rarely, if ever actually see the Dr, almost all their appointments are by phone.

The receptionists are rude and unhelpful. Making you jump through hoops and not interested in helping, I can't even count the amount of times I was told 'you have to...' instead of even trying to help.

I needed a letter for my blue badge, which was requested by the council, not me directly. They wrote it, THEN called me and said if I wanted it, I had to pay. Didn't even speak to me first.

With them changing their repeat prescriptions to an app, I discovered my regular medication that I had been ordering for months through prescription direct, was not actually on repeat. I called them and was told I would have to wait 5 weeks to speak to a dr to get it put on repeat!

It was only after I switched surgery that I realised I had just stopped seeking help when I really did need it. I would recommend any surgery but this if you actually want care.

This surgery used to be a well managed practice ,but now the majority of receptionist are rude and disrectful , if their job description has changed I think it should be known to all the patients they act if they are medically trained.
On a more positive note I have found the practice nurses helpful and polite and are a credit perhaps the nurses should be involved in the recruitment process of the receptionists.

This is a very good surgery. I have had a number of problems over the years and all have been resolved. I find all of the Doctors are top notch.Regarding waiting times and complaints yes there have been times like that but you can't stop a consultation in mid flow, take a book! All of the Receptionists in my opinion are good, but the complaint regarding the one that was a bit offish well I haven't seen her around for some time.

I have been with wordsley green doctors forever, and because I only call up every 3-5 years, I forget how bad the service is. Receptionists shouldnt triarge people over the phone. I called up and was requested to drop a urine sample off. I was prescribed anti biotics but noone had told me I was prescribed them.

First time of reading reviews I endorse the rude receptionists some very rude others can be helpful sometimes.After losing my voice and hearing I requested appontments
and repeat by email. Refused. Having. reported then to C Q C, Mind, equality commision, ombudsman and Mike Wood. Met with manager and dr. Outlined they were treating me with disrespect. Also, being age and disability discriminatory at 79 with psycal and mental health issues the only adjustment the dr. Put foreward was I find another surgery. Philosophy! If you can't or won't resolve the problass the buck to someone else. I was asked by the manager. "WHAT ARE TIMEFRAMES? I know now why they don't respond to formal complaints. Michael Jackson
