My friend who is in a residential home fell.and broke her hip in the early hours of Saturday morning. She was admitted to Worcester and subsequently had a hip operation. Wednesday of this week 4days later. She was sent back to the home with no medically trained staff. Not being able to weight bare. No walking frame and no hospital bed. She is in a normal bed in pain and can't sit up to eat or drink. The staff on Hazel Ward basically just wanted her out. The care of our elderly patients comes into question in the hospital system today.

My partner went to A & E and then onto SDEC. I cannot fault our visit 11/12/24. Dr Z Khalid was so friendly and took the time to explain everything and listen to us. He was very happy in his role and a credit to the NHS. Highly efficient service (Annie was great too) thank you from a very satisfied patient

My father unlaw who only has an old style mobile phone and keeps getting his urgent surgery cancelled because he can't reply has no online facility!
Utter disgrace that they don't even give a number to call and on phoning the hospital it just rings out.

I would like to thank mr j al Shakarchi and his team, my dad has a diabetic ulcer on his heal and has vascular issues and when I saw mr shakarchi yesterday with one of his doctors in the Malvern clinic with my dad i was left impressed. My dad has been struggling with his heal for the last few weeks and mr shakarchi got my dad a bed in his ward in Worcester hospital within a few hours. They got my dad on Iv Antibiotics within a few hours and today the 2/2/24 my dad was on blood transfusions due to his anemia. He has also had an X-ray and scans and they found a blockage in dad’s leg (the one he has the ulcer on) so i am very grateful that they took quick action to help my dad. They also took into account my views on a treatment and they decided to go with that plan. If it wasn’t for mr shakarchi and his team we wouldn’t be where we are today

Just had an online video consultation for physio this morning, excellent, easy to access once the physio rang me first and then we both went online to use video call to take me through exercises, she could see me and could guide me through. She was so helpful and will email me the exercises she is prescribing, I'm going into isolation prior to surgery next week so the prospect of going in for a face to face appointment by a total of four buses to get to WRH and back was out of the question, this made it so much easier, big thank you for using new technology to help those with mobility issues.

My wife went for a colonoscopy today in the mobile unit on kidderminster hospital car park. Mike Scott, Leah Baillie and Mr Mohammed Razayee were absolutely fantastic! She was very nervous. They were professional, kind and very reassuring. They even played music she liked to help her feel more relaxed and talked to her to keep her calm. They checked that she wasn’t in discomfort throughout. Such a fantastic team. Can’t thank them enough!
