Absolutely shocking! The reception staff are rude most of the time. I have been unwell for over a year and still no further forward with my condition. I keep being told my symptoms are all in my head or caused by anxiety. You struggle to get an appointment and when you do the doctors are very quick to dismiss your concerns just because I look healthy or don't fit the profile for the condition I am concerned about. Most of the time without examination. Things could be done better here.

Pleasant and knowledgeable staff. Appointments largely to time. Park further up the road and walk to the surgery if possible as there is very limited onside parking.

Tried to call this surgery now for 2 weeks to book a face to face appointment with my GP. With my first call, I was informed the nearest appointment was 5 weeks away. The receptionist was lovely. She texted me the nearest urgent care clinics however due to work I am unable to get to those centres.
I’ve tried calling again today, and so far I’ve been on hold for an 1 hour and 3 minutes and are currently number 5 in the call queue.
I’m calling them whilst completing a site visit, leaving my phone on loud speaker, and I’ve completed almost half my risk assessment in the time it has taken to speak to reception…
The hold music alone would make an excellent torture method.

I've lived here for years and every time I call no one answers, even though I'm first in line! When you go face-to-face, the employee always tells you that you need to book an appointment in a more time-consuming way (phone calls, emails, and websites) instead of resolving it now. It's almost an abdication of responsibility! They are not taking into account the feelings of the elderly!

Excellent service from Wootton Medical Centre today.
Prompt service for my mum who was ill last night. Medicine prescribed promptly and at the pharmacy quickly. Also phone calls from Dr Burada to confirm. Thank you.

My wife became very ill at work and I rung to make an appointment and explained what symptoms she had and told them what we thought it was, as she had the same some years ago. They suggested a telephone call in 3 days time which i stated wouldn't work as she needed a physical examination. I was then told to ring 111 which we did, after explaining to them they said you must go to the doctors immediately, which we did by this time my wife was in terrible pain and needed medication quickly, a doctor saw her and diagnosed her with the condition that we thought it was and a prescription was given which was collected with minutes to spare at the pharmacy. Had we not been persistent then she would have been hospitalised without doubt. We have been patients with this practice for over 20years and unfortunately i have to say the practice has gone downhill in the last 12 months or more.

When my son was unwell I was able to arrange an appointment the same day. Following a thorough appointment with a paramedic, he was prescribed antibiotics; the health centre also arranged an additional prescription as the throat swab results confirmed strep A/scarlet fever. Very pleased with the care received.

This is an excellent surgery. The phone is always answered quickly. Making an appointment to see a doctor is made very easy as you can phone for an appointment at any time during the day when the surgery is open. You will always get an appointment within a few days of you phone call and you can often choose which doctor you would like to see. (This easy access to doctors and even talking to a receptionist is almost impossible at most surgeries) I really appreciate this wonderfully easy appointment system.

I have seen all the doctors at the surgery and found them all to be good listeners who appear to have time just for you. I am confident in their diagnosis and appreciate there consideration for my feelings and thought.

I value living in an area where I have access to a surgery that really puts it's patients needs and concerns first and foremost.
