First Class!
I joined this surgery a year ago. Every member of staff that I’ve dealt with, GP,s, Nurse, Reception, and Pharmacy have dealt with me politely, efficiently and with empathy.
I find the e consult system excellent and have used it several times. I have been responded to quickly, often within hours of submitting. I have been seen quickly when needed.
I couldn’t be happier and would be reluctant to go anywhere else. I had appalling experiences at my last 2 surgeries and really appreciate how pleasant and kind the staff are here.

Woolpit used to be a good health centre both in terms of Reception and the Pharmacy. Unfortunately when they extended the practice the service has declined. The Receptionists are often rude and unhelpful which has caused me to complain on a few occasions, which is not what you need when you aren’t well. The Pharmacy, as lovely and polite as the ladies are, have just taken on too much and I rarely have the correct items on my prescription. I have to allow a waiting time of around an hour to ensure I allow enough time to check and then wait for all the items I have requested the previous month.
I do sympathise with the staff that they are just too busy to cope with the numbers of patients they have accepted.

Can't fault Woolpit at all! I have a number of chronic health conditions and they always get back to me promptly and with an mutually agreeable outcome. I'm never made to feel like I'm wasting anyone's time and I'm always treated fairly and like a human being! Everyone from the reception team, the nurses & doctors, and the Pharmacy team are all fantastic!!

I have just changed practices because of the appalling service I had from my old practice. What a breath of fresh air. Phone actually answered by a polite receptionist and a doctor's appointment within 8 days. The doctor was brilliant. He was very professional but explained everything he did. He also explained my past blood results clearly resulting in my worry about high cholesterol disappearing because it isn't high at all. The explanation from my old practice wasn't clear which made me concerned about my health for no reason.
Thank you Woolpit Health Centre, I'm so glad I changed.

I recently moved back to Suffolk after an 8 year absence. I needed to find a Dr and saw woolpit health centre were taking on new NHS patients so I decided to register with them. To be honest I wasn't expecting very much, but I clearly underestimated the practice. As soon as my medical notes arrived I received a phonecall to tell me my repeat prescription was due and was there anything I needed. This proactive approach to my welfare escalated and i recieved a Drs telephone appointment followed up by a face to face consultation. The Dr I have seen has been excellent and all the staff I've had contact with have been very polite, professional and helpful. The pharmacy was quite busy when I attended, but I was still seen by very helpful staff as soon as they could. I sincerely hope the practice is able to maintain this very high level of care.

Terrible set up. Called this morning to cancel an appointment for my Dad. Automated message tells you their only method of contact is econsult online but if you don't have the internet, stay on the line and someone will complete the form for you. I went in a queue and then a message said, you are number 4, we will call you back. Hang up now. Nobody called back. The Service part of NHS clearly doesn't apply to Woolpit. You literally cannot speak to anyone.

Have always rated Woolpit Health Centre, have been a patient for over 50 years.
Still here so something must be working.
I was wary of e- consult at first, now is very acceptable.
E-mail, receive a response, on occasion phone call from GP to go down and see him.
First class response. All issues dealt with.
Difficult year. Prostate issues, torn rotor cuff, total hip replacement imminent.
All dealt with competently, courteously and with a smile.
Stop complaining learn to use the system, it does work.
