Absolutely appalled at this GP surgery.
I myself have worked as a patient coordinator in a GP surgery for over 6 years plus moving from Leamington Spa.
I sent in registration from for me and my 23m daughter three weeks ago. Calling on the day I sent the registration requesting an emergency appt for my daughter due to being very unwell, I requested if her registration could be added on asap so she can see the GP ( something we have done at the go surgery I’ve worked at to help new patients who urgently need GP advice) it’s easy to do. I explained to the reception staff on the phone I’ve worked at GP surgery and we’ve sometimes registered young patients on the day by adding name onto emis slot so appt doesn’t go and then registered, once registered name is added correctly onto emis. Kay went onto say rudely well just because you’ve worked at GP surely it’s not like that here. Very rude and inconsiderate. Maybe management needs to provide some new training!

I was advised this can’t be done so I took my daughter to out of hours.
Called back for appt four days later and told my daughter still hadn’t been registered!! Apparently the registration form was with the manager.
Called back
Today three weeks later for an appt for my 22 month daughter and again advised she hadn’t been registered and I need to bring some proof ID. I had no call or information in those three weeks requesting ID.
I know from working in a GP surgery where I’ve registered number of patients, the ID doesn’t need to be provided to register!!!

Why not register my daughter and I can provide ID when I arrive for her appt. I’ve been trying non stop for three weeks.

Absolutely appalling, looking at who I’ve been treated even before joining the practice, I can’t imagine how appalling the actual service is as a patient.

I will be joining somewhere else. Be cautious about joining this practice

First appointment following switching from Walsgrave Health Center, and the difference is unbelievable. The doctor Mr H S Mann, was thorough and used the entire time slot to gather information, examine me, and discuss the best course of action going forward for further investigation. I can't fault him.

I have only recently joined this surgery, I can honestly say, after being with my previous surgery for 18 year. Because I moved out off the area.
Woodway medical Centre, have been totally supportive and gone above and beyond to help me with my long term progressive condition.
This is from the doctors, nurses and reception staff.
I would also like to say a special thankyou to Dr rafqi
Sorry if I havev spelt your name wrong,
This doctor has been totally amazing, has gone above and beyond to help me , always listens, I never feel rushed,
He is professional, caring, a true gentleman, I am so grateful to him for everything he has done to try and help me.
He deserves a medal, lots off people should sit and think about how hard these doctors work, to try and help us.
It's not there fault if we have to wait for appointments or refurels, it's the government's fault, expecting doctors to work like robots,
So pepole out there ,spare a thought for the difficult job thy all are doing, before leaving bad reviews,
Just remember, we get our treatment for free, not like other country's,
I feel very privileged to be registered with this wonderful medical centre.
Don't forget we all make some mistakes, doctors are just like us ,Thy are only human.
Spare a thought for there mental health.
They are all trying there best
Thankyou to all the doctors, nurses and reception staff that are Trying there best in these very difficult time's.

Dr Mann is one of the nicest and kindest people I ever meet? Always so happy to see a patient. Very polite and very informative. I am always booking with Dr Mann.

The practise is clean but small and it will do well with a general refurb. Still very nice staff on reception and doctors are absolutely the best.

The way they respond to inquiries make them exceptional from all other GPs in coventry; very punctual and very polite approaches. I loved to be registered in this GP.

Got to the surgery on time for my baby’s vaccination, 20mins after I received a text saying I missed the appointment and I can’t be seen because I didn’t go to the desk to tell them I was there, even though there’s no information there that says you have to let the receptionist know when you get there. But it’s always different when I’m waiting 1hr plus to be seen.

Kicked me out for asking for help with my dire mental health too many times, without any warning. I received the letter ONE DAY before they took me off their register & was told I would be prescribed 30 days of my medication until I can find a new GP. They only provided 1 of my medications & have left me without my ANTIDEPRESSANTS & ANTIPSYCHOTICS. I have yet to find a new surgery that will accept me due to the fact that I was kicked out by this one, giving me a bad reputation. The doctors here are cruel. They expect patients who have been on very high doses of opioids for close to a decade, to detox from them completely within 10 weeks with absolutely no assistance, support or alternative to manage chronic pain that renders them incapacitated without pain relief & decide to force this on said patients whilst they are experiencing the worst decline in mental health within a few months of the death of both of their parents. These patients are currently so unwell that they are openly discussing turning to illegal street drugs or SUICIDE because of the absolutely ridiculous & negligent amount of time the doctors have given them for withdrawal.
