I had a full hip replacement in November 2024, the Woodlands Hospital and all the staff were excellent. From the welcoming on arrival to my discharge. The room was spotlessly clean with plenty of natural light, the meals were delicious with plenty of choice. The Medical team, my Consultant, Mr Craig White, anaesthetist Dr C Gibson and all the nursing staff were excellent, always fully explaining everything to me. I felt very confident that I was in good hands. Thank you to the All.

Outstanding experience. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.
I felt at ease very quickly, and was attended to in a very timely manner.
My admission was for a Foraminal Epidural to assist with pain from a prolapse disc.
Staff were very efficient, and explained everything that was happening.
My procedure was carried out, I had the post operative checks, and was allowed home, all in less than 2hrs!
I highly recommend Woodlands Hospital and will have no hesitation in going there again.
It was worth every penny.

I couldn’t thank Dr.Khan enough over the treatment received. Barely felt it! I received a mixture injection at the L5 nerve. If it works I’m definitely getting it again! If not I’m going for surgery now that I have had experience with the surgeon which was pretty positive!!

I recently had an operation for the full replacement of my left knee at Woodlands Hospital, Darlington. My operation required the surgeon and his team, the doctors, nurses, care workers physio staff, porters and the catering staff and all were very professional, efficient whilst maintaining a warm and friendly atmosphere. I can highly recommend this hospital.
