I last received treatment here in 2014, and the building has been completely rebuilt since then. The reception area is big and airy with comfortable seating.
The treatment room is much larger now but you don't feel cramped in plenty of space for you.
The nurses are all great and eager to help. Special thanks to the lovely volunteers who are always ready with a welcoming cup of tea and sandwiches.

I have been treated here for the last two years or so. I have CLL, or rather Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia. I'm experiencing remission at the moment in April 2024, and I am very grateful for the care and support I received and are still receiving from all the staff and volunteers. During this period, I have had additional strain from arthritis, shingles, covid, anaemia, sepsis, and neutropenia. Some of these have meant a number of days as a patient in the main hospital during which I was visited by my specialist nurse and the haematologist who were both just checking I was okay. As things stand, I don't need to visit the clinic regularly, but one of the District Cancer Nurses visits me every few months to take blood tests and these are relayed to me by a phone call from the Specialist Nurse. My care has been brilliant.

For years, the problem with the lower part of the spine and sciatica. Diagnosis(MRI scan of course for my money) by neurosurgery is "synovial cyst with high stenosis of the spinal canal", laparoscopic surgical removal. Assessment by a specialist from this hospital. Exercise and I'm fine and should absorb to the body and depressants medication. And I can't walk anymore. But nice Costa Coffee. Total misunderstanding
