Anyone who complains about this medical centre are simply COMPLAINERS, those who like to complain as a matter of course and enjoy airing their views.
I have been a patient for some 40 years (from the Dr Marriot days) and enjoyed superb first class advice, professionalism and distinctive medical treatment. Thank you to all.

On the whole the reception are either terribly understaffed or lazy. I was trying to get urgent guidance for my daughter. She has been told by a Dr to get reception to do some admin he said would take just a minute or two so she could be treated. Reception told me they were too busy and it would mean they wouldn't be able to answer the phones. In the end she curtly asked me "what do you expect me to do?"
Nevertheless once she decided to have a go it was done in 2 minutes.
Some good Dr's here and even maybe one or 2 receptionists but the rest seems to treat the public with contempt.
This is curious as when you call you are warned about respect and kindness...I would expect this to be reciprocated.

If someone hates people or hates dealing with people they shouldn't be in a people facing job. Particularly when the people calling areworried for the health of themselves or loved ones.

Abysmal practice. The on-line triage service that is now the only way to book an appointment was down yet again just as it was over the weekend. I called the surgery and was held in a queue for 35mins despite being caller Number 1in the queue! When I got through I was told I have to use the on-line triage service even though it was down!
After advising that I was trying to make an appointment for a flu jab for my 91 year old housebound mother I was given an appointment but not a full check up as I requested, that I was told would have to be done on-line....
This surgery frequently requests BP readings for my mother who has high BP, severe leg ulcers and failing kidneys but this surgery has not once got back to us after we submit the results. I have no faith whatsoever in this practice to look after my mother's health.

I keep trying to get an appointment to see my GP, I have been into reception to be informed to either come back, phone or go on line at 4pm for an appointment. I have explained there are never any appointments with my GP (the only one I prefer to see), and have asked why when I am in the surgery can they not book me one. I am told they can’t access appointments till 4pm. This has never been the case before and if this is the new appointment system, I do not like it. A bit of empathy would be helpful from the receptionist, as I explained I can never get one on line and when I phone, I’m advised to go on line………,so frustrating

The staff are so helpful and professional. I have had a few issues and they were super quick to get me seen to. From reception staff to the nurses absolutely amazing.

A special mention to Dr. Khawaga as she has been dealing with my complex case for a few months. Very happy with how I was listened to, and not once did she make me feel as if I was going crazy. Took her time to investigate and explain my results to me. I would 100% recommend this practice for anyone who needs medical help.

Thank you all at Woodlane Medical Centre!
