Utter joke.
Phoned at 8 o clock in the morning and stayed for 40 MINUTES in queue only to be told to go to chemist as they have no appointments. I asked why's that since when I called there were 20 people in queue and is that how many people they see in a day and I was ignored. The receptionist kept telling me I need to phone at 8, but what's the point since they barely have any appointments at all apparently

I signed up to here about a month ago, and was worried slightly cause of the reviews, but I must say so far I’ve been given appointments within that week and been replied to everytime I have sent a message/request.

I don’t understand all of the bad reviews this place has cause I’ve had a really good experience and they deserve a well done.

I have no idea how to call here, I've been trying for a week, I've been waiting for an hour, I've had the same number for half an hour. You can only call in the morning to make an appointment for the whole day. It's a telephone visit anyway. When you're working, you can't always answer the phone and you don't have a chance to see a doctor.

As first impressions go, an absolute disgrace. Dispite being one of the first appointments in the day, I was kept waiting nearly an hour because "their computers were down". Meanwhile every other person in the waiting room was seen no problem at all. When they did eventually ordane to see me, I was ushered in and out within 2 minutes. I had to remind them that they had asked me to bring things with me, or they wouldn't have taken them. Disgusting service, and a total waste of my time!

Trying to get through to reception is a nightmare. No one answers the phones. Missed a call from them then spent 1.5 hrs trying to call them back, being placed in ques then no one answering. Great service when you do get to see staff, but let down by very poor reception/ telephone service

Spent 2 mornings trying to speak to someone to get an appointment for an abscess on my neck.

Finally decided to walk up and speak to the pharmacy at the side. I explained to the pharmacist and showed him the abscess and he almost fell of his chair its that bad. He told me to go to the reception of the doctors and say he sent me personally. Of course, as expected, the reception didn't care and told me there were to appointments and to call again tomorrow.

They also advised me to call Iheart Barnsley - don't bother. They don't answer either.

All in all a fantastic experience so far. Makes you wonder why we pay NI. May as well privatise the whole thing at this point.

An absolute disgrace for a Doctors. Attempting to get an appointment here is like trying to get an audience with the Pope. You call in to the Doctors to see the receptionist and are told the only way to get an appointment is to phone in the morning at 08:00 to book a Triage appointment to see if you are deemed worthy enough to actually get to see the rarely seen or heard of Doctor. You call at 08:00 and all the lines are busy or they ring and nobody answers then when or if you eventually get through you are told all the appointments have gone and to try again tomorrow. I work 08:00 until 16:30 Monday to Friday and occasional weekends so I unlike a lot of the malingerers who spend their days on the phone to the Doctor in Wombwell trying to get another sick note so they don't have to get a job don't have the luxury of sitting by the phone all day trying to get an appointment and waiting for a call back to see if I deserve to see somebody. An absolute joke. Unfit for purpose. Rating should be minus 1. Abysmal.
