Dental team here are a bit of a let down. Went in on the weekend due to an abscess on the advice of 111. Walked in not really expecting anything, just wanted to be assessed that it could wait until I saw my regular dentist. Dentist was immediately hostile. Barely got a word in to explain I had concerns as I'd had a fever and some swelling. Just wanted some guidance and the advice from a professional after being told by 111 I should be seen. Had the dentist explain to me where to buy paracetamol before she even looked in my mouth. And then proceeded to chastise me for not having taken any today... before even looking in my mouth. She then started to say how she wouldn't give antibiotics (that I hadn't asked for or wanted) for my swelling as it wasn't bad enough, which is something I also told 111 before even attending. Upon actually looking at my mouth she did agree it needs to be dealt with and I should tell my regular dentist that. And that was it. Just got chastised and dismissed in under 10 minutes, all before she even looked at my gums. Can imagine these people must see some very difficult folks but it's not particularly acceptable to be condescending towards someone who's been sent to you for medical care. Totally cool if there's nothing to do but get usual treatment when I can but there's no reason to treat someone like they are an idiot before you even assess their problem. Wouldn't recommend but if you've got no choice, be prepared.

We've been sent to woking community hospital twice in the past couple of years by 111 for out of hours help with our children. On both occasions we've been met by a hostile receptionist who has not looked up to acknowledge us, left us waiting and given frosty/short responses. On each occasion we've been cradling a poorly child under the age of 2. Can fully appreciate the stress the team must be under on a daily basis but that doesn't excuse being rude and unhelpful. In an environment where you're dealing with poorly people each day, I would have thought patience and empathy would be a vital trait when hiring a front of house member of staff.

Got to my appointment on time however due to the receptionist Janice taking her time you are made late to your appointment. The receptionist did not acknowledge the fact the appointment was at 10 and I was not seen until 2 hours. Slow staff no worthy of working for the NHS CLEARLY FIND PERSONAL CONVERSATIONS MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE PUBLIC AND THEIR HEALTH. The parking is also a 10 min walk away not helpful and poor service waste of tax payers money. They have signs saying,'Don't be rude to NHS staff.' But what about the staff being rude to tax payers? Such a shame!

Staff on phone seem to be helpful and kind. However parking is a no go due to it currently looking like a building site and it's off limits. Blue badge/permit holders are limited also.

My grandson (has autism) while under our care on holiday, fell and fractured his elbow. We contacted WCH and arrived as instructed.
We were seen by Anne Wood and received fantastic care from her and the x-ray staff. Superb professionalism was experienced at every level. Thanks so much Anne!

You get very well cared for, but parking is a horror story, completely on point unless you're a blue badge holder as they are using parking spaces to build something on, as if there was a lack of parking spaces anyway
