"Patient knows best" and yet you have to fill a certain criteria to get a diagnostic test. The doctors here will not listen to your ailments no matter how much you protest and are extremely dismissive. This is what happens when you become detached from your humanity and believe you know better than someone who is living in their own skin. All I requested was an MRI for chest pain that has been going on now for 10 months.

Wanted £60 in CASH for the GP to sign a letter confirming medications.
In person as well.
Now, I ask you, what's the reason that an organisation wants paying in cash? Hmmm?
And where's the cost incurred? No actual stationary or postage required and all the staff involved are at work in any case.

This is the best GP surgery I have ever experienced. All of the receptionists have been nothing but helpful, kind and polite. The clinical staff are amazing as well, Dr Chowdhury is the best GP I have had, she is extremely kind and puts you at ease. Whilst not everything is perfect, appointments can be a little hard to get, this isn't the GP's fault or the staff that work there. You can tell they care and try their absolute best!

Just appalling. Can never get an appointment, even for my 3yr old. Reception staff are unhelpful and lack empathy. Despite being 2nd in the queue at 8am, was kept on hold for 13minutes to have a very quick "no appts today" and then just dismissed. Not good enough. Will be changing doctors.

As a former nurse and NHS worker for 25 years, I like to think I can spot a useless doctor from 100 paces. I joined this surgery a couple of years ago and can honestly say that all the doctors I have come into contact with have been brilliant. both at diagnosis and treatment and, if a specialist's opinion has been required, they have left no stone unturned. I have two health conditions that need permanent monitoring and this is always carried out on time. I have full confidence in this practice, as does my daughter who joined them about 6 months ago.

Was surprised how nice this surgery was.
Previous experience of other local GP building, it was a bit run down.... peeling paint etc.
Staff lovely and friendly.

Very disappointed with care from this practice. It’s virtually impossible to make appointments to see or even talk to your GP.
Having developed some warning signs of type 2 diabetes I contacted the practice to discuss getting some tests. The first blood test was done, and on discussing results I asked about any signs of diabetes as it wasn’t mentioned. The wrong blood tests were ordered so it all had to be repeated. The results of the second blood test arrived at the practice and I called to make an appointment to discuss results. I was given a date 3-4 weeks away and told this is the earliest appointment possible. I called back again and again stressing the importance of the results to be told “if there was anything serious the doctor would have contacted you already”. I eventually got an appointment for two weeks time. When I got my call, the doctor said my results were serious and I had to rush down to do provide more samples as a matter of urgency. This delay could have had a serious impact on my health.

We also had great trouble with the practice with my infant daughter who was sensitive to lactose, and was in serious pain and losing weight rapidly. The doctors were of no help at all, and it was only talking to another parent about her symptoms did we find out what was making her unwell, and we were able to start treating her with enzymes to help her break down the lactose. This common ailment was completely misdiagnosed and we were told simply that babies cry, and stop fussing. When we told them the enzyme we were purchasing was working, prescriptions for the medication was refused.

It is worth stating that the nurses at the practice are lovely and genuinely do care. It's a shame that the rest of the practice seems not to.

I will be changing to another practice as soon as possible.

Dr Ali is always kind helpful and attentive.
Hes a great doctor that knows what he's doing and doesn't make any fuss ever.
Have to wait a little for appointments but that's the seriously underfunded NHS for you, nothing to do with the surgery

Altogether good experiences from the whole team
Thanks !
