Today I had a home visit from Adam arranged by you at short notice and I have to say I was very impressed. He was charming, professional and very knowledgeable. My wife and I were both reassured . I honestly think that all the staff at Whitemoor are simply outstanding. Well done!

Compared to my GP in Derby, and in fact most GPs I've had, this surgery is first class. The doctors are helpful and actually listed to you. The surgery staff are competent and it's possible to get an appointment.

I’ve used the e-consult service for the past three times I’ve needed the surgery. It has worked perfectly. This is a fantastic service if you can use it or get help to use it. It is simple once you try it and you do get a response far quicker than waiting for an appointment. Obviously if the doctors/practitioners feel you need an appointment following the e-consult, then one can be made.

I have been at the surgery just under a year. At first they were brilliant very helpful. Now you can’t get an appointment for 2 weeks for mental health issues or medication as they want you to see there mental health team rather than just a regular doctor. And the flu vaccine program for children is now an 8 week wait.. so by the time my daughter gets to have it in December she is likely to have already become ill. Not good enough and staff on reception seem to need to ask the opinion of somebody else everytime you ask a question. Not sure what’s gone off but they need to sort it out as it is a very very poor service!

Was prescribed acne medication for 3 months and the pharmacy gave me a months worth said they owed me 3 more for the rest then I went back and they gave me not enough medication

Feel completely neglected.
I was dismissed during covid about my knee, it dislocated twice and the doctor was so rude, dismissive and sarcastic I had to speak to the practice manager and the excuse for the doctor speaking to me so disgracefully was that his "shoulder was broken"... shouldn't have returned to work so soon if he couldn't even provide politeness. 2 years later and more issues with my knee, an arranged CT scan at Derby Royal proved them wrong and there's evident damage there that confirmed it had dislocated and now I'm stuck with an untrustworthy knee at a very young age. I've had an ongoing bowel issue I've had to chase the results for. The receptionist was the only one to provide me with vague results instead of a medical professional and I've been given 0 advice or further investigation routes as to how to manage my problem which is actually making an impact on my quality of life. I request my medication via email 1 week before I run out every month and a few times (4 times) I've been left with no medication as it either gets over looked or forgotten; so I'm at the pharmacy 3-4 days after the request and it's not there. I've had to wait 2 weeks for my full prescription once.

Professional and very clean, if you require an urgent appointment you have to ring at 8am and wait in the queue, if not it can be hard to get to get a fairly quick appointment
Wheelchair friendly and disabled toilets as well as male and female toilets. Pharmacy attached for immediate prescriptions, delivery service is also available

Don't do advance appointments, only see patients if it's an urgent issue. Stay well away from these doctors. I've had an issue with my shoulder now for nearly 6 months. I can no longer do any sport, condition now acute & still unable to get an appointment at doctors or a referral. Looks like I'm going to be signing onto long term sick as finding it difficult to do job, could have been avoided if I could have only got the medical attention I needed when I needed it. Only been to doctors 2-3 times in nearly 12 years & yet they are not there when you need them. Very poor, seems doctors only care about pushing the services they get paid most for.
