I always get through to reception extremely quickly which is fantastic - receptionists are always friendly and helpful.

In December I had some bloods taken by Caitlin one of the HCAs and she was lovely and really put me at ease.

Dr Yusuf was great in an appointment I had with him - friendly and thorough.

Sister Karen has just performed my smear test today and she was one of the loveliest ladies I’ve come across. So friendly, really made me feel relaxed and like she had all the time in the world for me!

Thank you for being so great!!

Just returned home from my monthly blood tests at the surgery. I have to say a big thank you to Caitlin for being early for my appointment, friendly and so efficient that I was out before the actual time for my appointment. I also have to say that I have never been disappointed with the service given by all of the nurses at the surgery. Thank you . Posted by Valerie Giles.

Hi I heard on your recording about not being abusive to the receptionist and I find it hard to think anyone could be like that to you because your just trying to help people they are disgusting people like that in this world now. I spoke to Chloe at 2pm and she was brilliant and even got me an appointment today which I honestly thought it would be next week sometime so thank you again Chloe you are definitely an asset to your health centre. I would also just like to say that everyone that works there are first class, very friendly and great at their jobs.

Started with telephone appointment which was very thorough, followed by doctors request to visit surgery that day. So very prompt action to diagnose problem. Doctor’s examination and diagnosis was very thorough and provided me with an invaluable insight as to possible cause and effect. Can’t fault the experience so thanks to the Whickham Practice team.

My appointment for a blood test was made for 8.10am and I was called in at 8.07. The nurse was very welcoming, very efficient and very conscious of hygiene. Hand washing and sanitising being carried out as I arrived. The procedure was totally pain free and took a little over 5 minutes. I feel for relaxed and confident when having to attend my surgery for any procedures.

Just a brilliant practice. Recently registered, after transferring from another G.P. surgery.
What a revelation - appointment booking, so easy now, and Dr. Jefferies is so proactive.
All the staff I’ve met, are professional and helpful : should have changed G.P. years ago!!

Went for a blood test yesterday and the procedure was fast and efficient. The nurse was brilliant, and the overall experience very satisfactory.
One question I'd like to ask.Why is the Practice still insisting on the wearing of face masks? Surely we want to move on from this awful period of our lives! Additionally, doubts are being increasingly expressed as to the merits of wearing a face mask.

I requested a telephone appointment because I had a bad cough which I didn’t want to share with other patients. I was called at home by a GP the same morning. She listened very carefully to my symptoms and asked a lot of pertinent questions. She recommended treatment after inadvertently hearing me cough, and renewed a prescription I needed which had expired. I felt I was given every opportunity to share my concerns and obtain the best possible treatment
