Received very warm and unexpected service from this hospital team.unfortunately this is my first visit there but I missed one connecting bus so after several obstacles finally reached there but 10 mins delayed! ?
So I felt sorry and told the receptionist sorry for being late but she responded positively. After that I met the lady consultant named Rumana Choudhury she was a very kind Lady. Suggested a few tests and fixed another visit in upcoming weeks. So I went for a blood test and found the most humble nurse ever there! So long story short summary day started with so many struggles but ended up successful. Wish the team the best of luck thanks?

My experience wasn’t great, it felt rushed.

Got sent here by 111 after suffering with abdominal pain & a fever. After a quick urine test and some prodding of the stomach I was sent on my way and told no further action was needed…

Luckily I called my GP the next day who said I should have had blood tests and a scan. They sent me to Leeds A&E who confirmed it was appendicitis and that I needed an immediate operation.

I had an operation here on 4th November and stayed overnight. The hospital is spotlessly clean and the staff are efficient, caring, friendly and attentive. I have had procedures in private hospitals and I would say there is no difference, if anything this was better. The team here are great, a credit to the NHS and should be immensely proud of themselves.

The hospital was immaculate and I was very well looked after by staff nurse Theresa, everything was explained to by the anaesthetist and surgeon Mr Wong. I could not have received better care and would like to apologise to Theresa for rushing off.

On Saturday 2nd of November 2024, I was chopping coriander to add to a curry I had made. I could not have predicted, nor, it would seem, avoid the enthusiasm with which I engaged in this task. Result: an extra slice of fingernail with added nailbed and blood. Argh! I went to Wharfedale Minor Injuries, where I was seen immediately. I cannot praise the staff highly enough for the amazing, caring and professional attention afforded me. Thank you, and I'm well on the mend now, thanks to you.

Daughter had a possible break of her wrist, after 30 mins of waiting we were told to go to another A&E because they were so busy, which resulted in an even longer wait at another hospital. Avoid at all costs, especially after 8pm as the dads army staff are obviously more bothered about getting finished on time than actually helping people.
