I can’t fault the service all of the staff provide at Westbourne. I called at 835am on Monday morning and was advised I was 22 in the queue and they could call me back. I received a call within 10 minutes and was able to make an appointment for later that day, which I hear is pretty unheard of in other surgeries.

I required a follow-up appointment and was able to make one with one of the receptionists. The appointment was offered in a timely manner appropriate to my health issues.

I have recommended my GP surgery to my friends and family within the local area as I really cannot find any fault with any of the services they have provided me and my children over the years.

Call back system saves time instead of holding you are called back when your call is close to being answered. The reception team are friendly and efficient. The Drs and nursing staff are kind, approachable. Very relaxed and satisfying visit.

The Nurses and Doctors are great, from what I have experienced. But, they are near impossible to set up an appointment with in the first place. I called 27 times this morning, unable to get through at all. Now I don't doubt that when I do eventually get through, I'll be told to call back tomorrow (this has happened many times). I work, so it's not easy to explain to my bosses why I need to be on my phone for over half an hour, trying to get through to the GP!
I also received a call a little while ago from the surgery explaining that I was due my annual review. 'No worries, when do you have an appointment available?' - 'Oh, well we don't. You'll have to call back to get an appointment'. Hmm I don't think I'll be doing that.

Absolutely shocking practise. Don't care, reception staff have gone downhill so much. Professionalism is non existant, a once great surgery has changed so much. Such a shame for a local GP. No care at all, no access and your dealing with a barrier everytime you call. Even worse in lockdown even thou the rest of the country is saying they're finding access to GPs easier. Well done 👍
