Never had any issues with this pharmacy. They work very fast from both the GP and the local walk in centre.

Have used for many years for myself and my children even though it's not the closest pharmacy to my surgery or where I live.

The staff are helpful and seem knowledgeable and seem to care whenever I have been in with a concern.

You can't ask for more from a pharmacy really. Highly recommended.

Westview is one of the best places i have worked, the staff work tremendously hard to provide the great level of service. They are competent, well trained and knowledgeable, the owner has invested alot of his time and efforts to make it the pharmacy it is today.
The regular customers there know and really appreciate the friendliness and customer service of the staff. It was a pleasure working with every single one of them.

Went to pick up a prescription chemist was buisy but seemed to serve everyone quite fast .it's only a small chemist as well so not much of a shop

So far today I have tried over 200 times to get through on the telephone. It either rings out, is engaged or you get an answering machine that says you can't leave a message.

They have supposed to have set my Mum up for home delivery of her meds - hasn't happened yet without me chasing them up... If you can get through!

This really is a dreadful pharmacy, it's really poorly run and they are absolutely incapable of communicating. My family have used Winterbottom Pharmacy and they've been absolutely fantastic. I wish I had used them instead, but the dates weren't convenient.

I don't use this pharmacy and, given the way they've mishandled the Covid-19 boosters, I won't ever use them again for anything. The negative reviews (funnily enough, most of the negative reviews are about boosters too, from 2021!) are very much deserved.

On 18th September 2022 I booked my autumn Covid-19 booster (booking reference 82155198) for Friday 30th September 2022 at West View Pharmacy.

I called up on Monday 26th September 2022 to ask if I could get my flu vaccine on Friday 30th, alongside my Covid-19 booster and was told they didn't have any. After the call I was a bit confused as to whether they meant they had no flu vaccines or no Covid-19 vaccines.

I called back and was told that they had no Covid-19 vaccines and weren't getting a delivery until Friday - but they didn't know what time. They told me to call back on Thursday to check.

I called today to be told 'we don't have any bookings for tomorrow.' Then she said to her colleague 'they've all been cancelled haven't they?' I advised that they certainly did have bookings for tomorrow because I have the text confirming West View Pharmacy on Friday 30th September 2022 at 11:30am.

I have not been contacted to say my appointment was cancelled and I only found out that it is highly unlikely that my appointment will go ahead, because I called about the flu jab. If I hadn't, it's very likely that I would have just turned up tomorrow and been turned away. I live like 5 miles away, so that would have been a very frustrating waste of time and petrol.

I was then told they didn't know what time the delivery of vaccines was arriving and that they didn't know why the NHS site was letting people book jabs in when they have no supply.

Given that Winterbottom Pharmacy aren't having supply issues and that there's two pop up sites this week in Tesco car park, I don't think it's a supply issue. I think it's more likely that West View Pharmacy are incompetent and can't manage their own inventory or appointments and, given the other negative reviews on here, it seems to be a consistent thing. I just wish I'd checked the reviews before I booked in. Guess I'm going to Tesco tomorrow!
